Our hotel is located directly across the street from a beautiful Catholic Church, and kitty corner to the City's central Police Station. We are still a large city, and downtown in any large city requires you to keep your wits about you, but overall I find San Antonio to be very safe. There is some industrial area to the west of us, but not much reason for you to travel that way unless you are working in that area.
The convention center is a short drive straight down Cesar Chavez blvd. I recommend taking an Uber for $5-$6. We do not provide any sort of shuttle services.
Looking forward to your stay!
