Overall Great Location/ Rooms are large and they still have a smoking floor YEAH Staffed with enough people. Pool area very nice big fluffy towels, beautiful landscaped flower beds- Large parking area

Pros: free parking; big, clean, comfortable room; not-unreasonable walk to River Walk and Alamo (apx 1 mile/ 20 minutes); very reasonable rate. Cons: mediocre breakfast (motel waffle, hard-boiled egg, etc); need more than one wastebasket. In short, a pretty good choice for budget travelers who'd like to be near enough to walk to the major attractions

This hotel is all semi-suites, so the room is pretty big. It's a little out of the way as far as attractions for downtown (Riverwalk, Market Square), but for the price, you can't go wrong. Plus there's free parking which is pretty rare downtown.

They accidentally gave someone else our room key and deactivated ours. Not only did someone try to come in our room, our room key didn't work. Instead of calling to apologize they were insulted when I called to ask what was going on. The answer, "Well they didn't get all the way in your room did they?"

The service is excellent, the rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and we always get a good night sleep when we stay at La Quinta. It's our favorite hotel away from home.

I would send someone in to check the room to make sure things are up to code at least after the room is cleaned to make sure it is ready to rent out. There were no wash cloths in the bath room one shampoo in there, there was a constant rattling noise all night long, the room stayed extremely hot...

The staff was great, friendly and willing to accommodation. But it is not acceptable under any circumstance to see mold in the bathrooms. Never should anyone be exposed to mold, especially in a facility you are paying for.

Was pleasantly surprised at the mini suite room we had for the price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was the usual La Quinta offerings. Rooms on the east side get road noise.

This was a great place, with great staff. The room was clean, but they could have used more breakfast options, but I would love to stay here again. It is close to the Alamo, alamodome and lots of other attractions.

I did a lot of price comparison for my family's trip to San Antonio. This hotel had the best price! I was a little nervous of what the hotel would be like but once we arrived we loved it. Room was spacious we had a great view the beds were comfortable and a flat screen tv. It wasn't the cleanest...
