The best evening of our stay in Santa Fe was with Angela and Tara, the bartenders in the Secreto Lounge in the Hotel St Francis. The literally put on a show for us and even gave us tips on making cocktails at home. They were so personable and fun, we hated to leave for dinner!

My husband and I spent an overnight here as a "staycation" in Santa Fe. Just a short 2 minute walk from the plaza and close to most downtown attractions, its hard to find a better price for this location and value. The standard rooms seem to be pretty small but if you prefer a

Dear DesertSkies2016, Thank you for taking your time to review Hotel St Francis. The proximity of the hotel is just about perfect to enjoy all the attractions of Santa Fe. Your description of the decor is wonderful, complexity in simplicity is what some of us say. Being one of the oldest hotels in Santa Fe we work hard to hold onto and represent that historic old world charm. We do hope that you will choose to stay with us again on your next adventure to Santa Fe.

The St. Francis has been my go-to hotel in Santa Fe for years (I live 1 1/2 hours away). My sister and I have "sisters weekends" there. The staff is wonderful, the lobby & bar awesome, the beds very comfortable. But somehow this trip wasn't quite as great as usual. The

Hi, We feel honored that we are your go-to spot in Santa Fe for your sisters weekends -- how fun! We're disappointed that on this stay in particular we did not meet our normal standards and do appreciate you letting us know where we can improve. We certainly hope that you will be back for another stay and look forward to upholding the standards that you have been so fond of here.

Do you still do high tea?
I have not seen high tea offered in my stays there. The town seems more casual.
