I'm sure I'm not the first to say the La Fonda is a great hotel! Everything from the staff, to the food, to the rooms, to the location are all first rate! Definitely going back to Santa Fe and the La Fonda will definitely be our hotel of choice!

Wife and I just returned from 2 nights at La Fonda. We had a great time at the hotel and overall experience was good. The front desk staff was extremely helpful @ checking and recommend a good place for a late dinner as we were checking in after their restaurant had closed. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. One tip-...

Perfect stay as always. Friendly, welcoming staff, great food and drinks. The bed was more comfortable than some of the rooms we've stayed in. Still a bit hard for me, but my husband liked it. Wonderful area to walk dogs on the west side of the church, or east down to Alameda if you want a longer walk.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at La Fonda in November. We were in Santa Fe for a wedding, and the reception was at the hotel as well. We started with a basic room but upgraded with the assistance of the lovely staff. Both rooms were well appointed, clean, and so cozy. The bar was fun, the shops were interesting, the...

We came up for a stay cation and date night. La Fonda had a great price and it is in a great location. The Plaza was lit up with Christmas lights so it was a beautiful sight. The king room we had was small but nice. The bed was super comfy. Would stay here again.

Our room was in an older building (reputedly 1800s) on the corner of the property. The room had a very nice quality about it topped with a kiva (wood burning fireplace) in the corner with copious wood supplied. Venue offers a shuttle via SUV to locations within two miles or so. Super handy to use.

The location, near the Square, is convenient to attractions, shopping and food. There is an underground parking garage; most convenient. The restaurant and bar are, as is the rest of the hotel, recently renovated and provide a great place for dinner or to enjoy a glass of wine and an appetizer. The Christmas season offers the famous decorations and luminaria...

Stayed for a long weekend. We had a superb view (even on the 1st floor) of the Loretto Chapel. Almost everything was in walking distance which was nice as driving was a bit painful in the Plaza area. The hotel has a parking garage, but you pay for the privilege. When we visit again we are considering flying into Albuquerque...

What a unique, lovely place! My trip was part business and part fun. On the "business" side, the facilities were very nice and the people who organized the conference I attended said the event planners were very accommodating. The food was great, and the server assigned to our room was able to arrange gluten-free and dairy-free food for me to...

To experience the La Fonda on the Plaza is a sensory overload in Southwestern art. Every hallway, every nook and cranny is filled with paintings, prints, painted windows, carved and wrought staircases, and more. Even the headboards on the beds are works of art, each being painted in differing colors and designs. You never really need to leave the hotel...
