Have stayed here many times over many years. The rooms really aren't so great and are definitely dated, but the location is awesome. Until our most recent stay on 2/14/17, they have always been clean. This time we stayed in #9. It was the least clean room of all the times we've ever stayed there, and our least favorite room...

We were pleased we chose Buckeye Tree Lodge (sight unseen) when travelling to Three Rivers. It is quaint, modest dated but we liked it! The location is very close the Sequoia park entrance. There is a restaurant right next door. I would say it is NOT close to the middle of town...but there really is no "middle of town" in...

My fiancée and I stayed at Buckeye Tree Lodge for three nights to explore and hike in Sequoia National Park. We were very happy with our stay! The room was clean, very cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed. The view from our window of the mountains and river was beautiful to wake up to and the breakfast basket...

You can't beat the location; just outside the entrance to the park and the sound of the Kaweah river. The rooms are tired; Mattresses have no support left (we stayed in 2 different rooms of the main lodge - the second was worst than the first. I had to stuff pillows under the mattress to support my 115 pound frame.)...

Took the ride from hell in the dense fog and finally arrived here. The ladies at the check in were super friendly. The room was not that big but the scenery from the room was spectacular. Right on the river. Got a nice basket for breakfast that didn't make it until then. Beds were super comfortable. Pet friendly as well....

Great location next to the river and a short distance to Sequoia National Park. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was a great starting point to head into the park for the day. There is a nice restaurant next door for breakfast.

We stay for one night. Checked in after midnight. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, spacious and the view of the river was beautiful. The room has a small coffee pot and makings for tea. A wonderful hospitality gift in our room were muffins, fruit and fruit juice. The lodge is close to the entrance to Sequoia national park. There is...

I slept like a baby. Had the window open to fall asleep listening to the river running. Inside was a basket with juce and a homemade muffin for breakfast. The coffee maker came with a crock of coffee beans and a grinder. Hairdryer is kept at the office. Out the back door was a table and chairs overlooking the river...

This place is about 0.5 miles from the park entrance which has a very good tourist information centre. The lodge is on the roadside but was very quiet during the night. The beds are great and the room had a balcony overlooking the river. Some rooms are closer to the river than others. Fruit and cakes are provided on a...

My sister and I stayed here for a few days. My son & his family came up from Visalia for BBQ, swimming and lots of river walking. Although there wasn't a big rush of water, it was great to see the river running. This was such a special trip there. 1st time meeting my grand babies (although they're not babies...
