The rooms were dated, but very clean and in good repair. The view of the mountains from the balcony was gorgeous! Rooms include a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Perfect for an overnight stay. This motel was probably 3 minutes drive from the caverns so the location was perfect for us.

Stayed for a funeral nearby. Reasonable rate for what you get. Was clean and welcoming. Not the Hilton, but was better than what I was expecting after watching hotel impossible. Would stay again. Could be updated a bit with a Keurig coffee maker that's used in other hotels now, instead of the little small mr coffee. Photo out front and...

unless there's no other option. We stayed in this motel on November 4th and the only thing pro is - it's really close to the caverns (and the caverns are a MUST SEE!!!). Unfortunately some of the options that we liked when we planned our road trip were close due to end of season. So we chose the closest place....

OK, the good stuff. Perfectly placed for the cavern, the room had a new air-conditioning unit and a lovely view. The downside is that the place is badly in need of updating. It looks like everything was new in the 70s and hasn't been touched since. The reception had a damp musty smell. The bedclothes seemed clean but the bathroom...

Outdated room but clean. Would have wanted a few more pillows and one more blanket for two beds. But air conditioning worked, clean towels and very quiet. Not room darkening shades! But just a room to stay in while traveling through. It was fine!

Requested the handicap room for my father, who's 80 and has issues. After they gave us the wrong keys (to the wrong room), only one light bulb in the ENTIRE room (including the bathroom) worked, the linens were dirty, and they killed half a dozen cockroaches as well. Also, an added bonus, they did have a coffee maker in the...

Lamp shades had evidence of bugs on them. Window sill in bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Half the lights didn't work. Carpet could have used a deep cleaning. The view is overgrown. Sheets and towels were very clean.

We decided to visit Luray caverns as a break point for a long car trip. We called and booked a room at the Luray Motel East for convenience. The employee on the phone was friendly and professional. When we pulled up, we were pleasantly surprised at the throwback feel and gorgeous setting. Check in was easy, and we even had...

Very close to Shenandoah NP, this was a perfect stay for a last minute trip. About a 15 minute drive to the Park entrance. I enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony in the morning, drink coffee and stare out at the Blue Ridge mountains, Very close to the select few restaurants in Luray and right across the street from...

The room was a little musty and there was no microwave or fridge. The pool was a little outdated but I liked the fact where it was out the opened. We got the motel on a last minute deal. We would return again however they do need to update their rooms.
