We really enjoyed our stay here...friendly owner....the room is very cozy, warm, & quiet..the lay out is great..feels like home..I just loved the design of the bathtub/shower combine...Outside our door is chairs that you can sit on & just enjoy the evening/morning peace/quiet...Barley no traffic noise... This is a great inn for guests & if I'm in the area again...

I had read some reviews and most said this place was clean. It was very clean, really nice man working the desk, definitely an older motel but it was super clean, furnishings were a bit outdated and decor did not match but great shower and super comfy beds. We loved it!!

The Cardinal Inn is a motel located in the town of Luray Virginia. Open the curtains towards the back of the room and there is a nice view and area for you to picnic. This is a bare bones motel, but the innkeeper emphasized that if we needed anything just ask him. He was friendly and accomodating. Rooms were big,...

This motel was a little overpriced for what it is. It's a little older and you can see that in the decor. The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are so thin that we went to a nearby Walmart and bought a comfortable pillow to sleep on. Average motel, but first rate service from the staff. They are very...

The outside of the property looks old but the room was large and comfortable. There was plenty of room, decent wi-fi reception, good closet space and a refrigerator. The staff said that if I needed anything else (linens, pillows, coffee maker, etc.) to just ask. The bathroom was good with very strong water pressure in the shower. There was a...

The room was fine, but this motel does need a freshening up. Decor is old and dated, but the king size bed was comfortable and it was clean. Clerk was friendly and accommodating. Reasonable value at $75 a night (plus taxes). No breakfast or coffee. Would stay again.

Yes, the sign is worn and the paint is peeling off the building. Inside, the rooms are clean, have the biggest bathroom ever, best water pressure in the shower, and a microwave and fridge. It is quiet and a great place to bring a family--close to a convenience store and local restaurant. The owner seemed very friendly and accommodated our...

The room itself was clean, the sheets and bathroom had been attended to, but it was definitely outdated and a bit rough. The TV was old school, which was fine, we never use TV's anyways, but the plastic around it was very scratched, and the doors and baseboards in the room were worn and dirty. It was as if everything...

Room was clean, but very dated. Poor window coverings, sagging on the rod and did not darken the room well enough. Comfortable bed, but a very loud air conditioner unit that did not have a fan adjustment.
