This refined Georgian Revival inn is only 3 minutes to the Luray Caverns, gardens and museum, and 10.6 miles from the Thornton Gap Entrance of Shenandoah National Park. Each of the 45 rooms has been individually decorated with relaxing color schemes, beautiful fabrics, rich patterns, classic furnishings and modern amenities. Pillow-top bedding provides exceptional comfort. Large windows with natural light illuminate most rooms, allowing the vivid landscape of the outdoors to be seen. In addition to a fine-dining restaurant, Circa '31 and meeting facilities, the inn has a fitness center, a spa and an art deco-inspired cocktail bar known as The Speakeasy. There are also gardens, a gift shop and an art gallery.

We had the best Anniversary staying here. We stayed in the Blue Ridge suite which was very comfortable and spacious. We had dinner downstairs at the Circa 31. The food was amazing! The staff was very courteous and attentive.

This hotel was a little overpriced but the old charmer was worth it as a change from Holiday Inns etc as we drove from Washington to Orlando, We enjoyed the quaint hotel and the staff were attentive. Our large room at the front had a great view over the edge of town toward the

We stayed here two nights in December. They have a good restaurant in the basement. They also have and afternoon tea, but you have to reserve ahead and it’s not well advertised. The staff work very hard.

Greetings, I certainly wish to apologize for the missing doorman on the evening you checked in. I started my career as a bellhop and surely do not want to have the reputation of not showing our true Southern Hospitality. I have also been on the hunt for the loud blower. Hopefully we have both issues corrected. The Mimslyn recently under went a multi-million dollar renovation. Every air conditioner replaced. I will make sure our maintenance department keeps a look out for noisy ones. We are so lucky to have Luray Caverns and the Shenandoah National Park in our back yard.

I think our only negative comment was the poor quality bathtub, which flexed under foot. The food was fine but ordinary. But it is still one one the best places to stay in Luray. Pleasant staff.
