This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of historical value for Scranton, PA. The rooms are nicely renovated and are very comfortable. It was a very nice place to attend a continuing education course. The buffet was fresh with a variety of food. Great place for fine or casual dining. My husband and I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a wedding (wedding-related services were very nice). I was looking forward to staying here for the history and after having heard good things. After we checked in and went upstairs, we found a used towel hanging in the shower. The tissue box in the bathroom was empty. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. We looked everywhere...

If you are into old buildings, visit this one. And plan to spend several hours looking at the details. Spent a couple nights here, based on TA reviews, and came away more impressed than we thought we might! Room was clean, quiet and comfy. LOTS of food options, accommodating staff, and relaxing at good value. We had special requests that...

This lovely hotel was originally a bustling train station in Scranton, built in the early 20th century. It has been lovingly restored. The stained glass ceilings in the lobby atrium are beautiful, as are the detailed mile 'paintings'. The staff was very friendly courteous, helpful. The price was quite reasonable. It is easy to reach, just off Route 81 in...

This is a beautiful hotel. When you walk inside it looks like the great Gatsby. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and food in the restaurants is good. I will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately I can not recommend staying here. I feel bad because it is a historical building and worth seeing, but not staying. There needs to be something in the building to keep it alive and apart of history. I booked here because of the historical aspect and they boasted newly remodeled rooms..... Not Walking into our room, it was small...

The hotel is located in a tired section of Scranton. Pulling up to this converted train station yo are struck by the architecture. The lobby is grand with tiffany skylights and restored ticket windows now used as a coffee shop. The rooms are spacious with floor to ceiling windows. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows are very soft....
