The location is great for exploring Flag. We visited 3 national monuments from here with easy highway access. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Great pines in camp. It was very crowded over Thanksgiving. Make reservations!

We had a great time! Grandson wanted to go camping instead of Universal Studios. We hiked, fished, we talked n laughed and saw a lot of nature. It was cool in the evenings n early morning but it was great. He really enjoyed it and I sure enjoyed the relaxing time. We will do this again in the spring time.... More

We arrived after office closing, and chose a site nearby from the after hours map. We ended up staying 2 nights here. This location is handy to Flagstaff and Sedona, is quiet as it is just out of town, and has department stores and grocery stores nearby. The campsite is beautifully natural, with level dirt RV sites, and plenty of... More

A large campground. Average sized sites. Services are shared with neighbouring sites. It is a little confusing which one is for your site. Sites looked mostly level enough for a simple levelling adjustment to work. Ladies bathrooms were clean and water pressure awesome. Men's bathrooms did not smell fresh. The urinal was stained. Insufficient water flow into the urinal to... More

We arrived and my wife went in the office check in. The reception was not typical of KOA. I can say that because my wife and worked at a KOA. The office was manned by young adults who were pleasant and did their job but that was it. We called the office just before arriving and no one answered the... More

The office staff is friendly. They did not personally direct us to our spots as many KOA's tout they do, but the map was fine and we had no problem. The park is covered with beautiful trees. Unfortunately, the spaces are extremely close together. If you are just parking and going siteseeing (Grand Canyon/Sedona) it is fine. If you want... More

The sites were good but the staff seemed to want to get us out of the office. Most KOAs escort you to the site but all we got was a hastily drawn map and a dismissal. Con: no fire pit do evenings, but I guess you could congregate at the dog walk - it was excellent. This staff experience was... More

The Flagstaff KOA was a very pretty RV Park on the outskirts of Flagstaff. It was conveniently located with easy access to downtown, as well as routes to the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, and other sites in the area.

This was such a fun and goofy place for us to stay on our road trip from NV to CO. Since we were arriving after sunset and didn't want to pitch a tent in the dark, we rented a teepee. They were fine for the price - it was more for experience and laughs for us. Finding the teepee was... More

The Flag KOA won the KOA 2016 President's Award and it's easy to see why: staff is pretty friendly and organized; the campground sits at the base of Mount Eldon (San Francisco Mountains) with hiking trails right out the back gate; great dog areas; lots of pine trees and the KOA Kafe which offers breakfast-only during the winter. Drought has... More
