The outdoor patio ( reservations required) is a perfect place to have lunch overlooking the Newport Harbor. The lobster rolls are fabulous with the slight touch of tarragon creme fraiche. The prices are expensive so view it as a treat.
We went to Castle Hill to celebrate my aunt and uncle's 33rd wedding anniversary. We decided to sit outdoors on a beautiful July afternoon on the adirondacks that overlook the sea. We're ordered oodles of delicious seafood and a bottle of Champaign! The lobster sliders...More

Our beach is private, and is about 150 yards wide, with gray sand typical of the beaches on Narragansett Bay. The beach is backed by sand dunes and sea grasses, with rock outcroppings on either end. Beach chairs, umbrellas and services are offered from Memorial Day weekend through September. As some of the posts have mentioned, the rooms in the Beach Cottages and Beach Houses also have private decks. Water temps are chilly now (in late May - high 50'sF), but rise into the low 70's in August.
Hope this helps - we look forward to welcoming you!
