I chose this place for it's location which is very handy to the Tennis Museum and the waterfront. The greeting was good and there's a place to park but we were packed in like sardines. It was however, complimentery. We had room 9 which was actually 2 rooms. The beds were high but extremely comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet....

Thank you for taking time to comment upon your stay. We are glad you enjoyed our ideal location, free parking, comfortable beds and more. We are sorry our breakfast was not to your liking but feel this was, at least in part, a problem of expectations. The Yankee Peddler is a 20-room "inn" offering complimentary continental breakfast. This is different...

Yankee Peddler Inn was clean and comfortable in a cozy homelike atmosphere fitting the Newport surroundings. Good breakfast choices and very accommodating. This was my first Bed and Breakfast experience and was pleasantly surprised.

We booked in advance because it was August, but we'd have stopped even if just driving by looking for a nice place to stay in Newport. Location is excellent: midway between the marinas and Thames Street restaurants area and Belllevue mansions and main shopping area. Country-style furnishings, my room had a four-poster (not my thing but nicely done), there is...

We did a girls weekend in Newport and stayed here. The location was perfect! easy to walk to and from shops and restaurants, and parking for those who drove. rooms were decorated nicely and very comfortable. the staff was very friendly and helpful. complimentary breakfast was nothing special, but enjoying a morning coffee or evening drink on the roof deck...

Found this place on Tripadvisor...We were dropping our son off at Providence College....took a shot ....it was wonderful. The staff....Laura ...Meg ...the gal in the kitchen ...all terrific. Built in 1830 ...wow...a spotlessly clean Inn. Parked our car ....and walked to everything on the main street...Thames St. Meg pointed us at one of the best restaurants ...The Mooring ....which mansion...

This was a great B&B. The staff was very friendly and communicative. They had nice amenities, like coffee and cookies, breakfast, and afternoon wine. Everything was super clean. The bathroom in our room was like a small closet, but we didn't mind. They provided plenty of towels and very nice shampoos and soaps. The house itself was really neat to...

A big plus for this B&B is the location. You can easily walk to tennis HOF, downtown, seafront, local shops and restaurants and the main bus station. For guests that drive they have free parking on site. The room we stayed in was quite large, the only disappointments was the tiny TV that was hard to see from the bed....

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this Bed and Breakfast and we didn't have a single complaint about it. Everything was just perfect and we felt like Newport natives. LOCATION -- The Yankee Peddler Inn was really close to everything. It was just a minute walk to Thames Street and the waterfront where most of the restaurants, pubs...

Close walk to wharfs through nice neighborhood. My wife liked the towels! a big plus. For the money, at a time when all but the $900 rooms in town were sold out, a very nice place to stay. Nice continental breakfast is included. There is an upper deck that we did not visit, but from below looked like nice place...

The Yankee Peddler was close and convenient to everything. We could easily walk from the tennis hall of fame to the Thames St area and downtown. We drove to the Cliff Walk but we could have walked if we had more time. The room was perfect although we did not spend too much time there. The wine and cheese and...
