We've been staying here for years. Still our favorite oasis amid the glitz and expense of Waikiki, like stepping back in time. The pool area and pool are terrific. Rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff is wonderful in all ways. To be clear the rooms are a bit dated and in need of some touch up so...

We love this place! It is so groovy and relaxed. They make no pretentions about being flash. The beds are comfy. The rooms are spotless. The pool is lovely and right in the centre of everything that is happening, if you want to be involved - Lots of happy children. The staff are helpful, fun and informative. I love the...

We have stayed at The Breakers for over 40 years and it just keeps getting better. Super clean resort, only two stories high, wonderful and caring staff, small but great pool, cutest kittens in Oahu, extremely fair pricing, and surprisingly quiet. Did I mention the best general manager in the Islands? The location is very convenient to Waikiki beach and...

This is my third year at The Breakers and I absolutely love it. It's got that old Hawaiian charm with Japanese influence. Close to the beach (one block) and all amenities, it's a nice quiet hang out without the hustle and bustle of other hotels. Always try and request not to stay near the back of the building as the...

Took a walk down memory lane-stayed here a couple of times about 40 years ago The three days were absolutely stress free. All of the staff were super friendly, the grounds were well maintained, the pool one of the cleanest we have seen!! The beds in our room were very comfy and the only sound we heard was from the a/c...

We stayed at Breakers because it is so affordable and not a high rise resort. What a good surprise we experienced- big clean air-conditioned room with a good bathroom and an enclosed balcony for only$150 dollars!! The location is very good-1 block from the beach and main shopping strip. We had a car, there are only six parking places at...

The hotel is situated in Waikiki only a block back from the beach and close to all amenities. We spent a week at the breakers hotel with friends. The breakers certainly isn't 5 star but I would definitely stay there again. The 2 story building has a Japanese feel to its architecture. I would say the rooms have hardly been...

Having stayed at The Breakers 45 years ago at 11 years of age I was so surprised to see the hotel had lost none of its charm ! OK it isn't 5 star and it was built in the 50s BUT the hospitality, location and old Hawai'ian vibe is 5+ star. We stayed in a poolside garden suite (much recommended)....

Our room located at the back of the property was disappointing. The noise from daily garbage truck early pick-ups woke us up every morning and the general traffic itself was constant. It has been a long time since a tv set was so old it did not have a remote control (small issue) and the general condition of the rental...

My brother and I visited Hawaii for the first time. The Breakers sits in the shadows of The Trump, Embassy Suites, and sundry other high rise behemoths that cost thrice as much and aren't nearly as good. It is literally a block from the beach and centrally located to everything mid town Waikiki has to offer in terms of shopping...
