For 1-2 day get away, this hotel is fine especially if you'll just use it to sleep. The 3rd floor restaurant is okay, you can have coffee or tea overlooking Diamond Head. Hotel is at theend of the "strip" so it is quiet. Try not to go out after 9pm, too many homeless roaming around.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 6 October 2016 via mobile

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed, good shower , good a/c . Very close to the beach and shops, next to the Zoo and surprisingly quiet in a peaceful way. We are at the restaurant, food & service were good. Nice views from restaurant and pool. More

Waikiki is not my cup of tea. It is a crowded, commercialized, and expensive area with an inner city vibe ... and palm trees. I ended up here on Thanksgiving because I needed to get to the airport early the following morning and it is about 15-20 minutes away. At first glance, walking into the somewhat gaudy lobby, my hopes... More

This hotel desperately needs to be renovated, it is in very poor condition. All furniture and carpets need to be replaced. On arrival we were very disappointed as we believed that this was not the hotel we originally booked via the American travel agent. However, upon discussion with one of the managers Dustin, whom could not have been more helpful... More

This is the finest hotel on the island! Not fine like china and silver with room service, fine like this place is perfect. It aint all snobby, but it is elegant, big, secure, has history, best location ever, and every staff member should get a raise. From the valet to the front desk to the repair man I bumped into... My hotel room (City view on 16th floor) was quite dated - desperately in need of an upgrade - but had all the services you're after: empty fridge, coffeemaker, limited cable TV. Surprisingly, I had a lovely view out across the city to Diamond Head, and I didn't need the aircon at all. The pool deck is beautiful, overlooking Diamond... More

This is an older hotel with dated decor and worn carpets but it is comfortable and 1 block to the beach and zoo.
