Yes, it was $400 a night for the main hotel. However, the 2014 renovation is stunning. The rooms are smallish but well appointed, and I was very impressed by the quality of the bathroom fixtures. Very clean. Million dollar view on the lake side makes it worth it. If you want luxury in such a remote area, you have to...

We stayed at the Yellowstone Lake cabins. Saved some money vs. staying in the hotel. Not much to look at on the outside and there is no view from inside (but who goes to Yellowstone to stay in?) Inside the cabins are clean and comfortable. 2 queen beds would be great for family. Full bath w/great smelling soap. Quiet. Short...

The huge hotel has been totally remodeled and updated. The rooms in the main Inn are comfortable and "country luxury". No television, no free wifi, and a beautiful place to enjoy the lovely views and the surrounding country. We were there very early in the season and a winter storm created some issues for the Inn and the area businesses....

I guess it is this that makes it worth the money But it is expensive to stay here ! The only mobile operator that works here is Verizon same as at Old Faithful Inn .But unlike it Lake Yellowstone Hotel has a business center where you can connect to internet if you want .The rooms are more updated than the...

They recently finished renovation at the Lake Hotel and it looks fabulous, so much better than in the past. The rooms are large and are really lovely. Nice western decor, comfy beds and decent sized bathrooms - all pretty unique in a National Park hotel! I love the lobby at Lake, it is very grand, very welcoming and very comfortable....

we stayed in cabins. they were clean, warm (it was 29 deg f at night and morning) and spacious. it was quiet also. (but we were there in mid may, less rush period) it is meant to be a cabin so they do not have TV or phone. no tub. it is basic but good accommodation. Lake is just 2...

We were in a "lakeside cabin", somewhat misnamed as there was no lakeside view. Comfortable but very tired. Hairdryer not working and this was replaced after request at main hotel reception. No housekeeping on days 2 and 3 despite requests. Reception polite and helpful but there shouldn't have been a need to complain in the first place. Be aware that...

My visit was in the summer months in one of the on site cabins. The views from the room were just forests, which was nice as it meant no buildings infringed on the natural landscape of the park too much. The soaps in the bathroom were carved to look like animals yet the bathroom was kind of old fashioned and...

Lovely building and obviously the location is outstanding. Rooms are nice too. Though for the price paid I would expect a little more luxury, and breakfast to be included. I guess they are able to charge so much due to demand. We visited a couple of the other Yellowstone NP hotels and liked the lake hotel the best.

grand and ritzy and old people-ish. I'm a little old people-ish. Now, we just stayed for the day and it IS a very pretty hotel and it's peaceful and popular with lake people. The boats weren't running just yet when we were there or we would have rented a boat. The restaurant and cafe were nice and the little store...
