They have remodeled the room, it seemed just a little small, but it had the look and feel of quality. Just twenty steps out the front of the building Yosemite Falls greeted us. There were three dining options for dinner right in the hotel, but at for breakfast, just one place.

The Yosemite Park is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I've been there many times over my life from hiking in the high camps, to watching the fire falls (no longer done), to playing with our kids in the river, and wandering the trails. When you get away from the crowds it has a deep serene feeling...

The location of the lodge is great and with the free bus you can access the whole valley floor. The rooms have been updated since our last visit and were very clean. The food at all restaurants is great with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options upon request. Can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous setting with clean, comfortable rooms. Dining options are expensive, but decent quality. Definitely go in the winter or spring to enjoy the falls in full flow. The brunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel is worth the price for the quality and atmosphere.

The falls were roaring, the night skies beautiful, and the park wasn't too crowded. Fine time to go. Winter colors dominate the park but the water was so nice to see, feel and hear. The Merced is moving good and is was a pleasure to experience the river with Hwy 140. Mirror Lake actually looked good, nice morning walk with...

The best time to visit the Yosemite Valley appears to be winter. No crowds, great prices and unbelievable scenery. We hiked Yosemite Falls and found multiple spots for outstanding views of Half Dome and El Capitan. Very comfortable and convenient accommodations. Good food and friendly and pleasant staff. Will come again....soon and often! Shirley

We couldn't have picked a better few days in the Yosemite Valley. Not only did we catch the bargain rate dates occasionally offered by the Yosemite Lodge, but we had unseasonable warm and sunny weather to enjoy our hikes and photo ops with the falls in full flow. While the rooms aren't elegant, they were clean, comfortable and well equipped....

We spent our 44th anniversary in a beautiful, newly re-decorated room overlooking Yosemite Falls. Wonderful staff. Loved every minute. Even the food in the Cafeteria is good! I would highly recommend The Yosemite Lodge and plan on staying there again next year for our 45th anniversary!

Rooms are comfortable, staff are courteous and helpful. We have spent one weekend a year for the last 35 years at Yosemite Lodge. We think that says it all. Numerous activities are available for all ages. If you are looking for a place where you can just wander on foot and be awe struck whenever you look up from the...

If you want to stay in Yosemite and not camp, and not stay in a super high end hotel (Ahwahnee), then the Lodge is really your only option. Therefore, my sense is that they don't work too hard to make it great. A hotel of this class in any other location would be half the price, but then this is...
