We stayed in spot 113. This is a handicap spot that we booked and it had great accessibility being near the entrance and very flat. It has a bit less shade (good for powering solar stuff) and only one adjacent neighbor, lending to being a bit quieter and not as crowded in. If you know camping in the valley -...

Our campsite was a bit more rocky then we expected but was adequate for our needs, bear safes are provided and fire pits. Someone had left their belongings in our bear safe and when I went to see the ranger to let him know, I could not find anyone. The area we were in was quite nice and we had...

After a night in Wawona I tried again to get a site in the valley. Maybe everyone's goal. There was a waiting list and I was one of the lucky ones that got a site down there. The sites are pretty big actually. You don't feel like you are close to anyone. No showers and the restrooms are very basic...

We had site 099 for 3 nights. In general all the sites looked the same to me. Flat, some sun, some shade. Pretty close water supply. Filtered water station for drinking water, and faucet for washing dishes and dumping dish water. A little bottle of hand soap in the bathroom which was often replaced, nice touch. (Noticed some other restrooms...

If you're looking to escape to nature and relax amongst the beauty of Yosemite, camping at any of the valley floor campgrounds will be a disappointment. The spaces are jammed on top of each other, camp ettiquette is completely absent and regulations are not enforced. We had a group of 15 next to us with three huge tents and a...

My family and I respected this RV campsite (216) three months in advance. The grounds were terrific. Beautiful majestic trees surround each campsite. There was a lovely little creek behind our site and nothing but wood in the distance. Even though the neighbors were right next to us I feel that Yosemite is so incredible we must share.

We spent 4 nights in Upper Pines campground #031. Overall it was an excellent experience. The site itself was good, mix of sun and shade with a lot of trees. My kids loved that because they all had a spot to hang their hammocks! We had 2 days of rain and the spot itself didn't drain very well and the...

Yes its hot and yes its crowded, but its YOSEMITE! I really enjoy Upper Pines. Close to Happy Isle / Mist trail, Curry Village and the Merced River!!! We stayed in the first loop with easy access to the road . Took the opportunity to use the shuttle service and was very pleased. Sometimes a little crowded, but very efficient....

The site was a little tight getting into. We had to stay on the pavement. Not much room to park truck. The site itself was spacious very nice. Picnic table and fire ring nice too. We had to book our site on January 15 at 7am sharp. This was my 3rd choice and I'm glad I got this on instead...

Do not book site 038 unless you don't mind people walking through your campsite. It is located next to a bathroom and people would walk right through our campsite on the way to the bathroom. It was very rude. We tried to put up barriers but they would walk around. It's not a campsite but a walkway. The lights from...
