Wonderful place Nice staff and perfect restaurant manager. Very good restaurant and breakfast. Nice beach, you can enjoy a sunset walk or à morning run. I recommand to stay in this little paradise even if some comments criticize the place

A great place to base yourself for the nearby safari activities. The resort itself lacked the usual holiday ambience and in some areas needed some updating but I guess the fact that guests were away during the day on safari gave that impression. The location next to the ocean is great and the accommodation units are funky and first class...

This is the 3rd trip to Laya and am happy to say that I enjoyed the service and experience like the first time. As it was the off season the buffet was not available. The only complaint I have was of the dinner which could have been better. We got a nice breakfast pack while the lunch was great. The...

Arrival was pretty swift and our room was large and spacious - a view straight onto the beach and a modern bathroom including a separate bath and shower. There wasn't any information provided e.g. What time breakfast/ dinner was, how anything worked in the room, what we could do, how to book a safari or excursion. Luckily our driver had...

Two nights stay at this amazing location. We were lucky with our balcony room closest to the coast and the ocean view was just incredible, especially through the big windows in bed! Spacious with a lounging area, good size bathroom and good AC. We took advantage of in room dining on our first night as we arrived late evening which...

Laya safari is a special place. Only 20 rooms in pairs of two per building. The staff quickly hit to know you and your likes. In the restaurant Upul was fantastic meeting our every food and drink need. We were never asked for a room number. Everyone knew. The rooms are special with glorious layout and great beach view and...

We came for just two nights to do the safari at yala national park and found this hotel to be fantastic. Incredible location with fantastic views of the sea from every room, the pool was great, again looking out to sea. The food and staff were also great especially Upul who made us feel like a king and queen both...

Sadly, because of our own additions to an already pretty full itinerary, we didn't have as much time at this hotel as we had planned and, having seen it, certainly not as much time as we would have wanted. The location, right on the beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean is stunning, and the view from the infinity pool is literally...

We loved our oceanfront villa settled into the sand dunes. What a treat to have the breathtaking view of the ocean at your front door. The hotel will help you with bookings for Yala National Park Safaris. The entrance to the park is only minutes away. We found fresh elephant dung around our villa and heard that is not unusual...

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere but right by the entrance to Yala (clue is in the name, don't expect otherwise). It's modern and striking by design and sits well in the baron landscape. We stayed 3 nights and did 2 safaris - totally worth it - saw amazing birds, buffalo, monkeys, elephants culminating with a rare leopard...
