I spent a week at Casa Canada during the so called rainy season (May 20-27, 2015). Possibly the best week of my life. From the moment we checked in, I realized this place was special - they upgraded my suite to (Room 20 perhaps the best on property). The rate was reasonable and the staff was outstanding - Kudos to...

The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Good food, great drinks and an amazing staff (especially Jose and Adin in the bar/restaurant) . A quick walk to the beach or a few steps to the fabulous swimming pool. The perfect place at the perfect price.

Comfortable, large rooms (free standing cabanas, actually). Very clean and safe. A beautiful infinity pool overlooks the sea. We prefer staying on this side of the island. It has a more friendly local population and is a lot more laidback. The staff here was AMAZING. Everyone was incredibly friendly and was always smiling. Breakfast is included (which was delicious). Pina...

Although it's not right next to the Picnic Center (the best beach in the island), this is the best hotel. It's pretty clean, comfy and the infinity pool is really nice. The only thing I did not like was the electrical showers, which scared me. We were able to change rooms so I just got an electric shock once :P...

The Great.... We stayed at this place for 1.5 nights and we felt safe and loved the view. It is a great place to read a great book, swim a bit and enjoy great breakfasts while overlooking the beach. The breakfasts ---French Toast with coconut bread, omelette, toast with guava jelly, pancakes and Nicaraguan breakfasts were all good---can you tell...

Comfortable large cool rooms with ginormous beds. Right on the sea (though not easy to get into the water directly from the hotel). Lovely pool. Well kept gardens. Friendly attentive staff. Local feel. Highly recommended for families or couples.

Casa Canada is a beautiful place to stay on Big Corn Island. The rooms are huge, the pool is beautiful, restaurant and bar is terrific and convenient, and its a short drive or taxi away from the beach. The staff tried to help me out with everything, I even forgot my camera battery charger there and they made sure it...

The room was beautiful, Stocked with amenities such as coffee, juices, snacks, etc. I had the sound of the waves to put me to sleep every night and wake up to every morning. The staff was wonderful and took great care of me. I needed to be shown how to use the water heater in the shower and needed help...

Casa Canada was a fine hotel for staying on Big Corn Island with the views and pool being plusses. The one thing that was below expectations was the mattress of the sofa bed in our room. It was really thin and you could feel the metal springs. If you are traveling with children, book a room with 2 beds or...

Overpriced hotel, slow wifi, nice infinity pool and amazing views for breakfast but restaurant staff can be very rude and unwelcoming. Room leaves a lot to be desired. Loud aircon leaking water non stop and when it rains it feels like the roof will fall on you. East side of the island is windy and sea is rough which means...

“I would think any would be fine. We had one closer to pool but with view of the ocean. Cabanas at other end would likely be quieter if it's really busy but wouldn't get the same view. ”
