We were two (American) couples traveling together for a few weeks to various places around France. We stayed at Les Granges Hautes for three nights in late September. Les Grange Hautes is a quiet, friendly place to stay, set in wonderful large grounds. Our (double) room (Les Oiseaux) was very cosy and full of character. Breakfast was an alfresco affair, perfect at around 9 o'clock with the temperature around 23 degrees. We have recently returned from a ten day stay at Les Granges Hautes. It is a lovely old manor house with extensive gardens and a good-sized pool. This is a surprisingly interesting location. The huge garden, the pool, the charming rooms and the central location all added value to our stay. These assets largely compensated for the excellent but fairly basic breakfast and the internet connection which rarely went beyond 0,3Mb/s. We stayed for four nights here at the end of June. Nice room on the first floor with a nice bathroom. the grounds were large and attractive. Hosts kind and helpful. Some nights they cook dinner which was pleasant and good value at E30 per person. the downside was that the place was infested with flies when we were there....
