Had a lovely weekend away at the hotel in January. Felt very welcomed and at home straight away. Lovely relaxing retreat with pheasants roaming wild in the ground. Very quiet spot well off the main road and well worth a visit, simply stunning. Had evening meals at the hotel both nights. Check the menu out for up to date choices...

What a stunning setting and a lovely building in beautiful grounds. The rooms are excellent and the high quality towels are changed every day, The staff are great and the breakfasts are perfection - 100% by anyone's standard. So the downside. The dinner menu pushes its luck and the food is a little underwhelming. My wild mushroom soup was cold...

Another great find on our 6 week road trip of UK. We always look for accommodation late afternoon so never know what we will get. Lovey big room everything spotless which is our main priority. Was reasonably late but dinner was no problem followed by good breakfast. We recommend

The food was plentiful and good quality and the tea flowed all afternoon. The two ladies who served us (16 feb) couldn't have been more helpful. Hard to leave such a cosy and comfortable...

Just had Afternoon Tea at Eshott Hall courtesy of a Travelzoo voucher. Booking was easy and the lady i spoke to was very helpful. I forgot to mention I can't abide cheese sandwiches when I booked but it wasn't a problem as more sandwiches, minus the dreaded cheese, were prepared for me upon arrival. Scones were warm with ample jam...

It was very easy to find off the A1 and is in a great location from which to explore Northumberland, it's amazing castles and stunning coast and countryside from. The house itself is well kept and set in lovely grounds, all the staff...

Booked for two nights with cheap Telegraph deal. Very nice bedroom, would have been good to be offered porter before struggling to room. Pleasant welcome for dinner. Possibly best fillet Ive had in years. Food piping hot Reasonable wine list but good red by the glass. Beautiful tasteful lounge for coffee.
