This hotel has been around forever. The new owners are very keen on running an impeccable kitchen. We were there for Christmas Eve and all ran smoothly. We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights. The rooms are adequate. All amenities are there, rooms are big enough, we even had a bathtub but there is no ambiance like... More

The best arrangement in this region. Gentle service, good food, and an excellent price/value quotiënt. We werelucky to be awakened by the sun shining over a beautiful autumn leaves surrounding the backyard. A must for bikers and walkers. The RMT museum in Enschede was a big surprise to us. We enjoyed the Joseph Turner exhibition.

I stayed here 2x 2 nights for business reasons. Everything is OK, and I even took the pleasure of taking a bath, a lost luxury in most modern hotels. My matress was rather soft. The TV is smaller than in other hotels in the neighborhood. And although I believe the manager that the WiFi (KPNhotspot) is perfectly alright, my android... More

I grew up near here, and have stayed at the hotel several times over many decades. I'm happy to report that the recent change in management upholds the standards set by six generations of the Kluvers family. This historic hotel has common rooms that go back hundreds of years. I stayed here on a quiet Sunday evening. There were only... More

Carelshaven used to be an inn at a short quay on a canal now filled. It has a nice terrace and a big garden and long walks may be made in the immediate neighbourhood. The public rooms are quiet, comfortable and unassuming though, like the rooms, they may well do with some paint and in general a less tired look.... More

We found this inn using "Links und Rechts am Autobahn". Incredibly cozy, incredibly friendly staff. Excellent dinner restaurant! It is a little pricey for an average family stay, but as we were passing through on our way to and from France, it was great for us. May not be a good fit for very small children (our son is eight...
