Trip advisor review I’m a detail oriented guy, so this very long review is for those who are like me. If you’re like me, below you’ll find answers to a lot of the questions you have. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They’re laid back, but they seemed genuinely interested in making sure your guest experience is top notch. No... More

This place is definitely one for the boys catering to their surf needs with world class Cloudbreak being the major draw card or a great place for an active family's holiday...in saying that, if you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this might not be the place. However if you are a surfer and active family then this is... More

We just came back from our 7th annual Tavarua trip. This is the highlight of the year for our whole family. It is important to know that, while it is geared towards surfers, the non-surfers have a wonderful time as well. In our family, only my husband surfs, and that is his main activity for the week. The kids love... More

Been here with my boyfriend in 2009 during that Easter period (early april) when the swell was building up and getting consistent... As many know, this is a world class wave surfers' resort! We met many families and solo surfers! Amazing people! Amazing food and magic atmosphere! That Kava night... Something really unique...

Just a quick note to say my family and I loved tavarua. We've been coming to fiji annually for 13 yrs and this was one of our best ever trips. It was our first time at tavarua and you're never sure what to expect or if it is as good as you hope . The food was fresh and delicious.... More

What a fantastic week we had at Tavarua Island Resort! We really enjoyed ourselves, staff were friendly, food was amazing (great variety every day) & the surf/gardens stunning. We were picked up at the Mercure in Nadi with all the other guests due to be on the island that week. There is then a 45 minute bus/van ride to the... More

Our family of five lived our holiday on this perfect little island. Whilst it's definitely a place to visit if you surf, the four non-surfers in our family had an equally wonderful trip - we snorkelled, paddled on the SUP boards, fished, lazed about in the surf and by the pool, did yoga and ate...constantly. The food was superb -... More

Stayed at Tavarua Island for one week in November 2014 with my family and a group of friends. Absolutely idyllic island. Water clarity is superb. Great surfing and fishing. Looking over Restaurants (surf break) on its day would be something special. The layout on the island is great. Accommodation and food was excellent. The cook did very well at catering... More

Tavarua has it all, from relaxing and reading to surfing world famous Cloudbreak. The Fijian staff is the absolute best, super friendly and make you feel at home and like family. The three meals a day are delicious and varied. I think they were trying to fatten me up for sacrifice. I just love this place. Have been here three... More

Great location on a remote island next to the amazing Cloud Break surf spot and a beautiful coral reef. It's pretty expensive and booked way in advance, but very clean, quiet and exotic. Worth visiting for surfers or young adventurous people and couples!

“There are one room bures (2x dbl beds) and 2 larger bures (the Sunrise 1 and 2) with 4 beds. I was in a bure nxt to the restaurant (#4) and thought noise would be an issue. Absolutely no problems as everyone is so shattered from surfing they are in bed by 9pm.”

“All bures have nice views. Low room numbers are closer to where the boats leave and get morning sun. Higher numbers get the sunset views. Bures 9 & 10 are closest to the surfcheck tower.”
