Location Suzani lodge is located in Nungwi but on the west coast side. The main area of Nungwi is 25 minutes walk down the beach or 8 minutes by car. From the airport it is about 1hr 30 min drive or $50 by taxi one way. If your stay is not extended hiring a car is a preferable option since...

Sazani Beach Lodge has THE best beach in Zanzibar. White sands, clean beach, amazing blue ocean....and few other people! Manager Alif provides tips on everything from when to go to the sandbank (incredible experience) to which restaurants are good bets, the least expensive and most reliable taxi service. Not to forget arranging snorkeling/diving for those who want to experience the...

Sazani captures everything that makes Zanzibar so special - simplicity, friendliness, natural comfort and most of all individual care for each guest and their needs. Located on a beautifully secluded beach designed around the best of nature, you can't but fall in love with cosy home. The staff take care of you like you're family and share their happiness and...

Staying at Sazani was the best decision I have ever made. Everything was just perfect - the staff, the location, the food (even with vegan options) - the laid-back atmosphere. This whole ambiance took my breath away, right from the beginning. I got a heartwarming welcome by manager Alif, who made sure everything is perfect - the whole stay. I...

In response to above couple who wrote brutal review, I had to endure a verbal attack on the manager by the woman , she had the linguistic range of a truck driver , yelling at the top of her lungs , F bombs galore. Her option is groundless , this is a 3 Star hotel on the beach. If you...

I stayed at Sazani Beach Lodge in October / November 2016. I was in Zanzibar to help with an education development project and first went to Sazani Beach for a weekend break. I ended up going back every weekend during my time in Zanzibar and even booked in for a week of holiday before flying home to the UK. As...

The breakfast was so nice. it wasnt included the price. we paid each morning $5. The internet was only in the lobi. and lobi is fine too. The hotel is far from the center....

Upon staying at the Sazani Beach Lodge, my husband and I were very unsatisfied with our stay. We endured everything from broken window screens, faulty mosquito nets, toilet and plumbing malfunctions including the flooding that lead my husband and I to demand a refund and relocate to another hotel in the middle of the night. The Sazani Beach Lodge has...

I am really sorry you had to endure this type of experience. We try our best here to make every guests stay a memorable one in a positive way. We have never purported to be an eco-lodge but a lodge predicated on responsible and sustainable tourism. And while we take your comments quite seriously, I am taken aback at the...

I really enjoyed staying at Sazani Beach Lodge. It is really so beautiful there, the rooms are 20m from the beach, you can hear sound of the waves. Very relaxing atmosphere, amassing view from the bar, they have beds and hammocks in the shade but you can move it where ever you want. The manger of the hotel was really...

We went to Zanzibar for 10 days as a reward for climbing Kili. We weren't sure where to stay on the island and after some research, we decided to split our time between the east coast and north coast. Let me just say the north is WAY better. I wish we would've spent all of our 10 days at Sazani...
