This hotel located in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar is simply magnificent. It was a great experience having to spend time here. Staff are friendly, my room was clean and the food was amazing. 5/5 for me. Btw ask for a room with a private pool facing the beach.

Hotel's Favourite
We had such a wonderful stay in the two bedroom Villa in Zanbluu. The private garden with small pool had wonderful sea views and made the perfect intimate and romantic proposal location (the staff couldn’t be more helpful for my partner seeing this up to surprise me!). The beautifully decorated rooms were clean, comfortable with lovely toiletries and local touches. I really appreciated the mosquito nets and nightly spraying. The main infinity pool was just stunning with comfortable sun loungers with a great beach bar providing great cocktails and yummy food. The hotel/pool is situated very close to the beach which was also lovely to be able to stroll along. I was so impressed by the food and drinks (cocktails and wine were just so good), the chef is really a genius. The first night I insisted we had to upgrade to all inclusive and I’m so glad we did, cocktails by the pool really made the perfect holiday. One thing that also really struck me was how lovely and helpful all the people who work there are, including the Maasai, I’d love to thank them all for their excellent service. There was also very talented local entertainers at dinner which we both enjoyed. Thank you Zanbluu team for setting up the most beautiful location for my partner’s proposal. Zanbluu will always have a special place in our hearts I never wanted to leave and we can’t wait to come back.

Zanbluu hotel would hav top score if it was better to take a walk on the beach. The staff is amazing and it is clean and cosy. It is not a big hotel, it is quiet and a good place to revolver from daily stress. Even if we stayed for ten days we didn’t wish to go another place for a meal. We had all inclusive. I also had a great SPA Experiences at the hotel. If you want to have an excursion, the hotel staff are very helpful and taxi is necessary to use to get there. We hope that we some day could be back ❤️

We stayed at Zanbluu Beach Hotel for 11 nights, the location is beautiful overlooking the Indian Ocean, right from the start the members of staff made you feel so welcomed, Martin the Hotel Manager met us when we arrived and welcomed us with a local cocktail before showing us to our room, the rooms are individual thatched roof villas with a lovely bedroom and very comfortable, the outside balcony over looking the ocean, we had a front row beach villa with its own plunge pool and private garden absolutely stunning, The time we stayed there we were made very special, Ruth in Reception was there to answer any questions, Martin No1 who was head of the Maasai Security at the hotel, who took care of cases to and from the room and always around with his happy smile, Godfrey, King Charles & Nixon who made fantastic cocktails and always happy to teach you Swahili, Asante, and Abdul who took our meal orders and looked after us at Breakfast and Evening Meals he was brilliant, The quality of the food served was top class we could not fault it in any way, a different choice everyday, I would like to say thank you to Martin and to all the staff including the members staff not mentioned Thank You for a great time,

Zanblu is a very beautiful resort with white interiors and colorful flowers. ROOM: They have beautiful big rooms with a wooden balcony to relax on. Although the partial Sea view room that I stayed in doesnt give a view of the sea as the other cottages in front row were blocking my view and I could barely see the sea. So you can avoid that for a view. However, the dining area and the pool area makes up for the lost view from the room. They have a beautiful dining area at a hillock which gives the whole view of the pool area and the sea. The pool area has lot of beds and swings to spend a lazy day. The beach can be accessed to walk on from the pool area during low tide; and during high tide you cannot walk on the beach but swim. DINING The food and drinks are excellent. They have a wide cuisine and each dish is simply prefect. They are open to customize it to your liking and even make a vegetarian version of a non vegetarian dish. Every alternate night the hotel would have some activity to entertain the guest, like Musicians or dancers during dinner time. SPA The SPA has a beautiful setup but the massage was average. I had better massage in similar cost in other countries. One can skip the massage. Distance from airport is 60-80 mins. I had taken an all inclusive plan which covers stay + all meals + Alcohol. This plan is good but the alcohol served in this plan is average. Like you will have base level brands for each spirit in the all inclusive plan and not the mid or premium level for which you need to pay extra. So if you are okay with base level spirits then go ahead with the all inclusive pan else would suggest to buy alcohol from the menu. The staff and the team is brilliant and takes great care of you. Would definitely recommend for the view from the dining area, the food and relaxing environment.

We were lucky enough to travel around the world but we never ever experienced such a wonderful place like this before. The hotel facilities were beyond our expectations, our bungalow was big, clean and beautiful, the decor was exquisite as well. Staff was incredible polite and joyful, everybody was very welcoming and always ready to assist us in all our needs. The views from every point in the hotel are to die for! Regarding the food, after every dish we kept thinking “this can’t be better!” And THEY WERE, everything was just delicious. The quality of the food was beyond, overwhelmingly good! So many things to miss after we left, we are looking forward to our return.

The moment you step into the hotel you know you have arrived to paradise and you know that you will have the most relaxing time ever. The simple beauty of the hotel blends perfectly with nature and it is very compact. The food and drinks were excellent, best food we ever had in an all inclusive hotel. The rooms were very romantic and clean and the service was exceptional. Unfortunately we only stayed here for 2 nights but we made the most of it. We would definitely recommend sailing to the coral reefs in the morning to swim with the fishes and find surreal starfish. We walked along the coast and we thought our hotel was the best decision. This is the perfect spot for couples looking for a relaxing romantic getaway, but there are also so many activities you can do around Zanzibar if you want to stay long, so you’ll never get bored. We had difficulty leaving this paradise but it will stay with us forever. The beauty and sincerity of everything had an amazing impact on our lives and our relationship. We thank each and every member of the team for giving us this unforgettable experience.

We are just arrived home from 8 awesome days in there, and we miss it so much. Not just for that small beautiful place, but the great team that make it possible. We have gone with our heart full of the beach, sun, palm trees, flowers and the great people that mare it a small paradise. From the front desk with the cutest Elisha and Rutty to those lovely masais, Samwel, Martin,.. passing through the great waiters, the cook, the housekeeping and those fabulous cocktails before dinner with a baoo game against the biggest masai player. Of course it all under the supervision of attentive Martin, the manager. We have gone home with a piece of our heart full of all of you! Asante sana for all you’ve done for us and Hakuna matata! Hope to see you again!
