Visited for a night with a few friends. Stayed in a family room for four. Room facility was adequate, with an indoor spa big enough for two. Outdoor onsen was very good, with various spa jet streams and temperatures. Location is good, with villages and rivers and bridges to walk about. Dinner at hotel restaurant was average, food was Japanese...

It is located an hour's drive into the mountains so the surrounding is nice and the air is fresh. The room and facilities were good not excellent. Buffets for dinner and breakfast are included, the quality is just okay by Taiwanese standard but it beat the pants off some mid-high end hotels we stayed at elsewhere in Asia. We booked...

I came here out of season end-September, so fortunately avoided the many tourists that would normally swarm the area. This particular area seemed almost deserted, which was a treat for my girlfriend and I looking for a more secluded, intimate getaway. Location: Almost as far along the last stretch of drivable road you could go. So I would say very...

Firstly, we were happy about the location of the hotel, surrounded by nature. It is also famous because a popular drama was shoot here a few years ago. However, we had to drag our luggage to the third floor without elevator and the door was self broken making us difficult closing our door which resulted in making sounds all the...

Stayed on the Second Floor. The room was Nice and Quiet with an indoor Tub. The Water from the shower in the room reeked of Sulphur though but this is natural hot spring water hence the odour. They provide bathrobes for you to go down to their outdoor Hotspring area. They have various temperature of hotspring pools in the outdoor....

I was looking for an authentic hot spring spa resort at natural surrounding, with good view, have both in room and public pool that require swimwear, at reasonable price and easy access between airport and Taipei. I chose Tangyue after reading several reviews of different hot spring spa resorts, I was glad it met my expectations. We booked a car...

Some website indicated that the resort is 12 miles from hsinchu, so I happily booked it. Unfortunately, it turns out to be an hour's drive out and cost me usd50! So, the cost had already set us on a minus one. When we saw the worn out wooden panels in the spa pool in our room, it really reinforce pd...

Stayed a night here, used their in-house driver at NT300/way (off peak rate) to get from Miaoli TRA to the place. Fabulous set meal dinner, NT500/pax, excl 10% for in-house guests. Delicious! Of course, the room is positively the highlight of the stay, own hot spring tub, toilet, shower and sink at the hot spring area. Remember to draw down...

There are 2 sections for this hotel - stayed 1 night at the higher section which was good (you get the see the pictures as shown). Room comes complete with all the necessities and more importantly the hot spring facilities. I think the water has a strong sulphur content so need to bear with it - even in the water...

Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable. The setting on the side of a mountain is incredible and the hot spa is well equipped and relaxing. I had a group of business people visiting a factory in Miao Li - everyone had a great time and enjoyed the spa.
