We had lunch here one cold, rainy day in summer. They have a good range of traditional Austrian food on the menu. As I must eat gluten free, I had limited choice, but enjoyed the GF Tiroler Grostl, which I like to describe as an Austrian bubble and squeak - sliced potatoes fried in bacon fat, with small cubes of...

We had a one night stay enroute South. The hotel only had a Panorama Suite left, but still gave us a good deal on a half board basis. The room was really nice, good space and as beautifully clean and fresh. The selection of food for dinner was very good and plentiful. Breakfast was excellent and the stay without fault.

We booked our visit through hotels.com. (we've done this at least 10 times with different hotels in Zillertal and never ever had problems before). The moment we steeped in through the door we noticed something was wrong. They had forgotten our reservation. Well this thing can happen but what really effended us was the way the handled the situation. First...

Embarking on a first visit to Austria, a first ever encounter with Ski's & a first memorable encounter with the Alps (the descent to Innsbruck a spectacular opener, get a window seat!) our first impressions of the Brau were of an enchanting hotel and well appointed staff in traditional dress. Efficient check in, lovely room, 2nd floor, views of the...

Very elegant Hotel, location is brilliant. Rooms are big and light with separate bathroom and toilet. Very friendly reception staff. Restaurant is overpriced and the service is poor. The food is not worth the price, neither dinner nor breakfast. There are lots of restaurants in Zell am Ziller.

Just came home after a week in Zillertal. We were welcomed, and felt like it too, the very minute we stepped into the hotel. The man in the reception( unfortunately I don't know his name, but he was just so friendly - and always providing us with chocolate :D) always asked if everything was good; whether it was the food,...

Nice new rooms with brand new bath. Traditional house and restaurant. Liked the typical Austrian style. Breakfast and dinner was ok but no variation and had much better in Austria. Main course was always good and quality of meat was very good but the way it was presented and the sides and sauces were average. Best Hotel food in Zillertal...

First night, but not impressed already. Service is very cold (although we smile and being polite to them). Hurry to finish talk to you (bar, reception, waiters). Not much explenation on arrival -about service or how to get around. Food is nice. We stay in superior room but to be honest I dont get why is it superior- looks very...

“Our room was on the first floor and facing the street. Therefore there were noise from people, busses and large trucks. If you want something more quiet you should probably ask for a room not facing the street. But street view is good when you like keeping an eye on things :)”
