Great central location for touring Burgundy and Champagne. Very comfortable for a week or longer but also the perfect quiet rural chill-out stopover for road travellers from Calais to the South or vice versa. Only 15 mins or so from the motorway but far enough to give you a very quiet and peaceful night. Plenty of excellent bars and restaurants within a short drive. An automatic choice for us whenever we are in the area or passing by......

We stayed at Les Tilleuls for a 1 night stop-over on our way back from Italy enroute to Calais. We wanted something different to a motorway motel, so read the reviews on TripAdvisor for this hidden gem in the heart of rural countryside. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 young children (all under 8) and were made to feel extremely welcome by Pam & Neil who were great with the children, especially as they were tired after a long drive. The lovely garden had swings for the kids to play on whilst we drank tea and the garden table. The building is amazing and beautfully laid out. Our room was a family room with master bed and 3 singles, perfect for us all after a long day. Pam made an excellent recommendation for dinner in a family-friendly Bistro that was very good indeed, all at a reasonalble price as well. Breakfast was great, lovely breads and freshly baked pastries all while chatting to Pam. We can't recommend highly enough, was an absolute joy and a perfect end to our road-trip holiday. Great advice on the local wine as well!! Would definitly return in the future. 10/10.

The B&B is beautiful, as is the garden. Quiet village where the birds make the most noise. Pam and Neil are so very nice and helpful. On both our visits they recommend places to eat, great choices. Rooms are big, plenty of parking space and a lovely garden to sit in.

Stopped here for one night, it is a gem of a b&b, hosts were lovely and very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, the place itself is beautiful. This was the first time but will certainly not be the last!

Les Tilleuls is run by a Scottish couple and I have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. There are about ten extremely well appointed double rooms, plus a gite, in the building located on the village square. Behind, there is a small garden, which residents can use. Breakfast consisting of fresh bread, croissants, cheese and meat are particularly fresh and well presented. For dinner it is necessary to drive to larger villages such as Gevrey-Chambertin, five miles or so to the west.
