Great cycling and great hosts. So much to see and do so we need to go back. The B&B was excellent, a great place to stay and a good starting location for over 30 rides that have been mapped out on GPS for you to enjoy. It was the first multi day cycling trip my wife and I took together. It worked out well. The weather was great too and the roads that are mapped out are quiet so you can enjoy the rides. We will go back again, soon.

First of all, Neil and Nat and their two children are gracious and all around awesome hosts. They were all warm and friendly and treated us like close friends or family.

The accommodations are superb given the B&B is 400+ years old. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, even by American standards. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the linens were soft.

The property is a real treat. I was so pleased to be able to cool off in the pool after a good ride on a hot day. We ate all our meals under the covered porch overlooking the pool and the Luberon mountain.

Speaking of food, it was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Breakfasts included various yogurts, two types of cereal, lots of fresh fruit, croissants, bread, jams, chocolate (ie Nutella), poached eggs, coffee, teas, etc. The dinners were each truly a work of art. They looked beautiful, smelled wonderful, and were quite delicious. You might think they were chefs in a prior life!

And the cycling... just awesome. Neil's routes take you on roads with little to no traffic until, of course, you get near to one of the destination villages (Gordes, Lacoste, etc where traffic is a given). The roads were in great shape with almost no potholes or other hazards. The Garmin GPS route maps were spot on, and really make it easy to do your ride without worry of getting lost. Neil is very willing to create a custom ride based on your desires, and program it into the GPS before your ride. Neil also previews the route and highlights with you each morning before you head out on your ride.

The bikes, bike helmets, bike bottles, and GPSs were either new or in excellent condition. Nothing felt old or nearly worn out. They were also bikes I'd be proud to own and ride at home.

Neil and Nat also provide restaurant recommendations (lunch or dinner), and will also call and make reservations for you. We were never disappointed with any of their
suggestions. Neil and Nat's personal touch was truly the icing on the cake. Heck, they will even wash your clothes for you every day!

Without a doubt, it was the perfect cycling holiday for us! Dont wait, book your Provence Cycling Holiday now! A.B. and Janet

We're on the way home now from a fabulous week cycling in Provence, enjoying the exceptional hospitality of Neil and Natalene and making friends with the other guests in the B&B from Canada and the USA. The accommodation is homely, we had an ensuite double, and the hearty breakfasts provide a great start to the day. On two evenings Neil serves up a fantastic three course meal and drinks. On the other evenings they recommended some of the many local restaurants all only a 10 minute walk away in the village. Our clear favourite was La Table Gourmande which was just superb in both its food and service. The main event each day was the cycle ride. The bikes are meticulously maintained and Neil has curated dozens of routes in 6 different zones with varying degrees of difficulty. They are all stored on a Garmin device which is easy to use and guides you throughout the day so you just choose what is best for you. He will customise other routes as required to provide suitable options for all. In addition he briefs you in detail at breakfast every day on the sights to look out for and, perhaps as importantly, the best lunch stops in each town. The ample pool provided a welcome cool down on our return every afternoon. The free wifi enables you to sort out any photos you have taken of the various villages and the incredible scenery. During our five days we covered 279km with an elevation gain of 2420m. I used the the Trek hybrid included and my wife hired an ebike so choose what is best for you. We cycle a lot at home in Spain, but this our first cycling holiday as such. Highly recommended!

We just returned from our six night stay and it was such a memorable experience. Neil and Nat (owners) made us feel welcome and suggested 5 cycling routes which we took over the duration of our visit. The routes were immaculately planned with incredible detail and every morning Neil or Nat would review the route and offer tips and suggestions on attractions, restaurants and other areas of interest. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, there are routes for all cycling levels and each route is preprogrammed into a GPS so all you need to do is enjoy the ride. They know the Lubron inside and out and their expertise ensured we were able to make the most of our visit to the area. And the two nights they provided dinners (which were fabulous) gave us an opportunity to socialize with our fellow guests which was an added bonus. This was definitely the experience of a lifetime.

Neil and Natalene are wonderful hosts and their accommodations are very relaxing, beautiful, and comfortable. And their kids are pretty cool. They provided a personalized inventory of rides that fit the desires of all us, and excellent recommendations for local dining and other experiences. In addition, they went way above and beyond with the support they provided when one of our group was injured in a fall. Neil promptly picked up and delivered the injured party to a local private hospital where the injury was imaged and assessed within a couple of hours. Natalene provided cultural and linguistic translation services whenever needed for the several days our friend was in the hospital pre and post surgery. Also, their assurance the hospital bill would not be exorbitant was bang on. BTW - Coustellet is a lovely village.

This was one of the most amazing experiences, and I highly recommend Neil and Nat and their cycling B&B to anyone interested in an extremely well organized yet independent cycling holiday in Provence. Their business model fit perfectly to our needs. Neil has at his finger tips an unlimited number of cycling routes throughout the Luberon Valley, each rated by distance and level of difficulty, with accompanying information on things to see and do and places to eat along which ever way you choose to go. He'll even customize the routes on the spot to accommodate unexpected weather or road conditions or preferences. Yet, it's fully independent. He gives you a perfectly loaded Garmin for your bike with accompanying laminated cue sheets, and off you and your friends go for the day! Every morning starts with a planning meeting around a beautiful breakfast on his veranda and two of the days end with a wonderful homecooked family-style meal by Neil and Nat. They day you arrive, you spend several hours over a few bottles of wine just getting a full orientation on how the system works and what to expect. We've toured by cycle before in other European countries and Neil and Nat's model worked the best for us hands down! I can't recommend them enough!

For a first trip off continent since the pandemic, this was a terrific choice. Great location away from big cities but close enough for sightseeing on a cycling day off. Neil, Nat and the kids were gracious and fun hosts for our week long stay. The cycling routes are well thought out and easy to navigate based on good pre-ride chats with Neil over breakfast and the preloaded rides in the Garmin GPS' supplied. The accommodations at the family home were spotless and the kitchen can really serve up some great meals. Highly recommended for all levels of cyclist looking for a scenic and relaxing holiday.

This was our second trip to Nat and Neil’s home. We are in our 60’s and are not serious bikers-we come from a flat place! This time around we got the electric bikes which helped us up some of the steeper hills. The scenery is amazing-we could see and smell the lavender come to life. Neil can help anyone find the correct ride for them with regard to length, ease of ride, the sights and the best places to eat. Using garmands to navigate is fun-kind if like a living “escape room.” The two meals with the family(including children,Lucy and Jamie)and the other guests are a great way to swap by riding stories, recipes (Neil is a great cook), and tales from our home countries(we were Canada,Australia and US). The accommodations were superb( we did the shared bathroom with our adult kids 5 years ago and had a private room this time). Laundry is done daily so you can pack light and take home plenty of Provençal goodies. No air con but you don’t need it as it cools down at night and fills your room nicely. We are already talking about a third visit here.

I went on this cycling trip alone and Neil and Natalene were so personable, helpful and accommodating. The attention to detail pertaining to the daily rides noting weather conditions (the mistral @ 65K) and making suggestions was perfect. The equipment - Trek hybrid bikes, locks, helmets, toolkit and preloaded GPS made the trip superb. Neil attends to the bicycles to ensure they are at maximum functioning. The accommodations are beautiful, the homemade meals delicious and breakfasts superb. They provide an honesty fridge with goodies and beverages was a nice addition. The detailed laminated cards for each daily ride were perfect to fit into a cycling jersey and provided information on sites and eating options to visit. I would highly recommend this cycling holiday for anyone who wants to experience Provence this way. Lots of climbing but certainly manageable. The site seeing was breath-taking and definitely worth the climbs. The best cycling experience in Provence!!!!
