I'll start with what was good about the hotel The grounds : The grounds of the hotel are absolutely lovely. It's almost surreal the environment they've created with fountains , statues and a wild variety of plant life The View : The view from the balcony is stunning overlooking the coast and having a perfect view of the sunset Now... Beautiful garden at the entrance. Great concierge and reception attention, good breakfast. TERRIBLE internet service don't count on it, The rooms have not been remodeled sin 1950. It's ok and really nice to have a vintage chair and some other articles, but they should at least remodel the beds, the lights switches, bathroom and the bedside reading lamps are literally... More

We stayed at the Parc Del Principe for a week on a tour. We found it excellent. The Views are fantastic, the place is spotless, the gardens spectacular, and the service faultless. The whole experience is enhanced by the Gio Ponti design which whilst rooted in the 60's still provides a superb environment and the exhibition of his works is... More

Room - small and dated - 3/5 Service - quality up and down depending who's on - 2/5 Food - nice enough but overpriced - 2/5 Breakfast - nice but they would do well to have some take coffee orders - 4/5 Facilities - shuttle bus is great,... This hotel's location and decor alone makes it five star but don't expect modern luxury furnishings. It is decorated in 60's style with the original beautiful blue tiles and matching furniture. However the regular hotel service is not five star. The breakfast buffet is totally self service .... Down to finding your own cutlery! This was the biggest criticism of... More

It has a spectacular views from a Cliff with an it's own beach and garden . Its walking distance from sorrento , which I enjoyed being away from the town center... More

We let a travel company pick the hotel for this last minute trip in late November. It was almost empty. The restaurant is OK for the continental breakfast, and the one dinner we had was OK, but the menu does not change. The hotel offers a shuttle to the center of town, about a mile away, but the shuttle stops... More

We have just returned from a touring holiday in Italy which included Sicily. We have stayed in a number of hotels all of which have been first class. However our final night was in Sorrento and we chose this hotel because of its beautiful and quiet location. What a mistake! It is advertised as 4 star but goodness knows how,... More
