We were in room 5 which is next to the breakfast room and has a fabulous painted ceiling. The room was furnished to match the classic style of the room, but the bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to see the internal structure of...More
We recently spent a week in Modica at this lovely, well-located B&B in a restored family palazzo. The family has kept the charm and historic character of their home and opened up rooms in a separate wing for guests.
Our room had a small balcony...More
My wife and I stayed 1 night with a guaranteed reservation.
We drove our rental car from Ragusa, stopping at Scicli along the way.
Arriving in Modica, Google Maps brought us to the hotel’s front door where I parked in front.

Hi there, we were there September 2014 for 4 days/3 nights. Parking in the immediate area during evening shop opening times can occasionally be difficult, I emphasis occasionally. . During the 3 nights we were there I think the furthest we had to park from the hotel was about 50m. Also, there is a big free car park about 100m away as a fall back. Bearing in mind that the hotel is an old villa and near the city centre I would not call parking problematical. While you are there you must sample the local chocolate - it is heavenly!
We went in late September 14 for 4 nights. Parking is outside of the hotel on the main Corsa Umberto road. It looked as though it would be difficult, but in fact we never failed to get free parking very close to the hotel.

"Room 5 has a wonderful painted ceiling and you really feel that you are in a palazzo."
