A very nice and old building. An old convent. The hotel needs renovation. Every where you look something is missing. The breakfast was very basic. The bar was closed the half of the time. The same problem with the restaurant. Beneath the hotel, you will find a very nice pizzarestaurant. Good food with good prices.

We stayed here one night en route to our villa. It is a lovely, quiet location with plenty of parking. The pool area is great, beautifully decorated as are the grounds with plenty of seating tucked away amongst the gardens....great for a pre dinner drink. The evening meal can be eaten in one of two seating areas. The menu was...

The Hotel is the ideal place to stay if you want to discover the west of Sicily by car. There are a lot of beautiful cities, beaches and archeological sites in a 40 min drive. Big and tidy room, fair breakfast, nice pool and very friendly staff.

The hotel is very true to Sicily. Beautiful buildings, helpful and accommodating staff who are also very friendly, which luckily is common in Sicily. Great pool and view, very nice bar with a cosy atmosphere and the kids are free to run about and have fun. A very positive experience.

We are delighted with this hotel that has so many imaginative rooms, very close to the center, although on the edge of town.We were here in October and it is an excellent position to cruise the environment

The hotel it self is a OK resort, but is located quite far from anything else than the neighboring industrial buildings and the trafficked road. The service of the staff was overall a very disappointing experience, with the exception of the day time staff. The evening shift in the hotel and in the restaurant was unfriendly, and showed little interest...

Peaceful and welcoming. Staff ready to please, especially Guiliana who advised and helped us get the most of our stay. She was always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. I need a gluten free diet and the staff accommodated by ensuring that every day I had alternatives for breakfast. The pizzeria attached to hotel served the most delicious food...

Big and nice room. Our room even had two separate floors! This hotel is a great base to start from when exploring the west of Sicily (for which you definitely need a car). Friendly staff and breakfast was OK. The swimming pool is quite big and definitely very refreshing!

Great room - quirky but perfect as very large with two bathrooms! You def need a car to explore but was a great base. We went all over Sicily from here. The restaurant next door is fab! Massive portions of delicious food.

Stayed 5 nights here. Off to a rough start with an ac that wasn't working and in a +35 heat ..it's a must! After 2 nights and some verbal disagreements we changed room and got 2 normal bedrooms instead ( had a suite for 4 ppl) ! Rooms can be a bit small if you travel with big bags. Clean...

Located in Alcamo in the heart of Castellammare del Golfo, a crossroads between Palermo and Trapani, Hotel La Batia was built in 1810 and was for years the summer residence of the Sisters. It enjoys an absolutely envious position. La Batia is an excellent starting point for any excursion into the territory of western Sicily and throughout Sicily just for the close proximity.
