Following a disastrous start to our holiday in Sicily (our pre-booked hotel was closed) we booked an alternative hotel but they couldn't accommodate us until the next day, so the owner rang this place and got us in for the one night. We arrived to a wonderful welcome from Stella the owner and a cold beer. This is a gorgeous place,... More

We (group of 3 friends) visited Baglio Fastuchera on a food tour in July 2014. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and encouraged us to learn about the environment and sustainable tourism, in a mix of Italian and perfect English. We cooked in the kitchen with the chef and enjoyed a delicious meal of Sicilian fare. Although we didn't stay the... More

We arrived one early spring afternoon to be welcomed by roadside fields of yellow and white flowers along with the owners Stella and Antonio’s warm welcome to us in perfect English. From the patio of this farmhouse, one can view vineyards as far as the eye can see while on other side, the pine trees and their fragrance offers a... More

We (group of 4 friends) had a really enjoyable stay with Stella and Antonio. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Baglio Fastuchera has a great location, with beautiful views and so much to do close by. The highlight - making ricotta! Everything was perfect - thank you!

Wonderful host and hostess; very welcoming; very attentive; very knowledgable about the area; excellent food; great conversation; and you may even be able to tempt Antonio into singing a song with you! We definitely made the right decision.

Beautiful location away from it all, fantastic view, very warm and personal atmosphere, and amazing food. The hosts are very knowledgeable of the area and can give great recommendations. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a view of the vineyards. We did some morning runs up the hill - beautiful views! Don't miss out on dinner - those... More

By far the most enjoyable of the half-dozen or so places I stayed during my recent trip to Sicily. Lovely accommodation; spectacular view; charming, helpful and considerate hosts; and the very best meals on the island.

Set in beautiful mountainous countryside, the Baglio has a spectacular view from its terrace. A warm and continuing welcome is provided by the hosts, Stella and Antonio. The room we had was very comfortable. The meals provided by professional chef, Leonardo, were absolutely memorable and worth a journey.
