Between the main streets Francigena and Cassia, the Holiday house Linearis and Podere Sertofano offer to the travellers the possibility of relaxing in the peace of tuscan countryside. A few miles away there is the highway Firenze-Siena to reach the major tuscan cities, many places of artistic, historical and cultural interest, some world-famous and others to be discovered. In 1998 our family bought the farm and its lands around, restructured with care to 6 years, to full respect for the authenticity of the structure. The oldest part dates back to 1600, period of creation of the farm in Tuscan, which was used as sighting tower. Then the rest of the building and the farm, with the apartments upstairs and the stables downstairs, were added to the tower, in different periods (the last was in 1847). Today the farm is the centre of our company which is interested in extravirgin olive oil production, with Igp trademark cold squeezed, and Chianti grapes production with controlled designation of origin guaranteed (DOCG). The Holiday house Linearis has six apartments, obtained by the walls of old farm, from old barn were derived the two apartments of Sertofano Farmhouse. Near the apartments there is a second little barn restructured as launderette, a public bath, a point of information and wi-fi zone for the guests and the old equipment room is now the reception. The farm is family-owned and one of owners lives in the structure. You can undestand our love for this land by the thidy garden, watered, during hot months, with rain water collected in a cistern. We have a little photovoltaic system for the production of energy. In the farm the separate collection of rubbish is very important. Surrounded by olive grove, vineyards and monumental plants, the apartments are independent, furnished with all comfort, with a simple and pretty style. Everyone has an own outdoor furniture. The Farm has the pool, with the access to the beach, and a depth of 160 cm, opened from Easter to the end of September. In the opposite side to the pool there is the barbecue with outdoor tables and a playground for children. Besides outdoor parking the guests can use the covered payment garage and in the garden you can use free wi fi. Nature lovers, we don't use pesticides and for the cleaning of the apartment we use just ecological products. In our farm you don't find the microwave, bad for the health, the bathtub, to don't waste the water, and the taps have a water reducer. In the night the farm uses low energetic impact lights so you have a dinner looking the stars. Just a house in the country. For us our guests are very important people and we meet their requirements. For us it is a real pleasure to help you for the museum bookings and organize activities around the Tuscany or specific trip. We believe that our Farm is ideal to spend a smart and indipendent holiday, in a country full of big contradictions and a touching beauty with traditions and big arts. Your pets are accepted, with a little payment. Chair and cradle for your children are free, but on request.

Flew Heathrow to Pisa with BA (baggage allowance let us take 2 car seats- buy some cheap ones rather than hiring them over there - you don’t know what you’re getting and it’s expensive). Also make sure you get the damage waiver on your hire car- we were v careful but still got some parking dings from other people opening doors onto our car- v annoying but thankfully all come vetted by a he waiver. If you’re arriving with loads of luggage and kids another bit of advice would be to set them up in one of the restaurants whilst one of you goes to pick up the car and drive it back to the terminal- it’s a short walk to the car hire place but with 4 bags and 2 car seats you’d need the free transfer bus - which you’ll need to wait for and the queues to pick up the car can be quite long - and there’s nothng there to amuse your kids. The drive down to Poggibonsi is just over an hour- I used TomTom on my phone for all our driving and it was fine. Anyway on to the accommodation - we had a 2 bed apartment and it was great- v comfortable with everything that we needed. The liocation is great being just outside Poggibonsi- which is about a 8min drive away-There’s everything there that you could want. Having no 2x 3yr old boys we didn’t eat out in the evenings v often but cooked at home, got them to bed and sat outside whilst the sun went down over the Tuscan hills. It’s convenient for the motorways to come ale you to Siena, San Gim etc so travelling by round the region is easy. Having the pool was great with the boys- bit chilly in the mornings but bearable Have no hesitation in recommending it and would definately go back. Book with Katia directly

I visited Linearis Holiday House in June with a group of 13 friends and family after we had to postpone a wedding but couldn’t cancel the airtickets. We had three houses all equipped with everything we could possibly need. The houses were all very clean and comfortable. The gardens, pool and other common areas are very well kept and our group enjoyed eating breakfast together outside in a nice shady area . The location of the property is great for exploring Tuscany, half way between Siena and Florence and very close to San Gimignano. I highly recommend Linearis.

I've been here three times, once in September 2014, November 2016 and July 2017 and everytime we enjoyed something different. Pool, apartment, wandering around... The whole place has an unbelievable atmosphere, the owner is very friendly, it is near to other towns you might enjoy, you just feel like home there. Comparing to some other places/apartments in Italy, even more northern, it is super clean and fresh. You have towels, bed sheets, oil in the kitchen, wi-fi and everything you can wish for on your vacation! If looking for a real tuscan experience then you cannot find a better place to stay. In the summer, you can enjoy the pool and the garden, grill if you want and you dont need to be worried that there will be a "traffic". There was no problem with sharing space with other visitors, everyone was able to find its private place outside. Even though I was bit afraid of getting bored just swimming anf chilling in the net, I was not at all! But comparing to our September or November visit, I enjoyed more the surroundings, and also the colours that autumn brings :) It is also better to go sightseeing in colder weather, because the summer visits of Florencia or Siena were bit tiring, you know. Anyway, the house itself is worth a stay!

Everything was just perfect - the house, nature around it, location, rooms... The owner was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and wifi worked great. We surely recommend this place and would like to come back once in the future.

I had a vision to be on an Italian Villa for my birthday and this was the place that I found. I enjoyed my 1 bedroom apartment C, the property and Katia were so helpful. All the recommendations in the binder you get along with the key was great and lead me to some amazing restaurants. I was there in the Mid-November so it was quiet and so beautiful. Thanks for making my bday vision come true.

I was not sure if our choice to stay there for 10 days was wise but soon as we arrived -even if we're looking for Podere Sertofano while its name is Linearis- it was obvious that we had made the right decision.Apartment K was big enough for 7 persons -4 adults and 3 teens- the kitchen was better than we dreamed, the pool picturesque and the view out of this world. PAM supermarket is close, Pogibonsi 2 km away and our favorite San Gimignano only about 10 minutes. I was surprised when we had to pay for 4 clean towels 8 euros but it was in the contract so no harm. The only thing that could be better is that we wanted more smiles from Katia and her mom. Maybe next time.

We stayed her for 4 nights in the apartment K and we loved it! The apartment had: 3 separate bedrooms (1 with a large double bed, 1 with a small double bed and 1 with a small sofa), 1 big living room, 1 big open kitchen wit a table large enough to host up to 8 persons and 2 bathrooms. We have appreciated: - the location: half way between Florence and Siena - the semi-private garden (to be shared with the neighbouring apartment that was, in our case empty) - the wonderful garden and swimming pool area - free WI-FI - the baby chair present in the apartment - dish soap, paper towels and salt were already present in the apartment - the coffee offered by the host at the reception :) - Katie's willingness to help us all the time and make us feel so welcomed. The only thing missing for this place is a small cafeteria / restaurant were you could order some drinks, coffee and some food as you are not always in the mood for cooking and for dining out you need to take the car. Tips: - make sure you buy the chianti wine that they produce at the farm - it is simply amazing! - they also sell locally produced olive oil but we have not tried it - make sure you take a half day / 1 day trip to San Gimignano - this place is sooooo close (11 km) and just amazing!

We stayed here for 5 nights in apartment 'J' and really enjoyed it. The apartment was very clean and large, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom, kitchen and living/dining room, and well equipped for cooking etc. The gardens and pool are just beautiful. There's good supermarkets a short drive away which makes it very convenient. We found the place quite easily using a GPS and with instructions. Our one and only negative was the cats would come in if you didn't close the door properly. Other than the cats, we were very pleased we stayed here and would definitely come back and highly recommend the property. WiFi was perfect and very fast.

I spent four days here with my husband and daughter and will definitely spend a few more next time. Very peaceful and relaxing. My apartment had two floors and was more than I expected and very clean. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. I didn't realize what an apartment rental entailed when I booked, (my fault), but next time I will be more prepared. I would have loved to have had a barbeque one night for dinner on their patio, or have a plate of cheese and prociutto by the pool. Next time I will do some food shopping before I arrive. Again, my fault. Besides, perfect central location for many sights such as San Gimignano, Florence, Sienna, and even the Cinque Terre. Katia and her mom were so pleasant and helpful. I watched her father trim the olive trees and tend to the grounds. Their wine is absolutely delicious, and I truly recommend purchasing a few bottles as well as their olive oil. Their vineyards and olive groves were just beautiful. I highly recommend. I can't wait to go back!!!
