Our mobile home was awful, we have stayed in many mobile homes around Europe and this one was by far the worst. It was so outdated, badly designed, smelly and dirty. I may have been able to cope with this if the outside area had been nice but this was a gravel yard. We had an ants nest in one of the children's rooms too just to top it all off! The mobile homes were so close together that out of your bedroom you look into the bedroom of your neighbours and with screaming children either side peace and relaxation was impossible. I managed one night and asked to move .They did accommodate us in a better mobile home for an extra cost which was quite reasonable but overall I can't believe the cost of their accommodation seeing as it is so old and outdated. Some of the mobile homes were cleaner and more modern so be sure to pay a bit extra and get one of these. The pools are lovely and well maintained and a great size but the public pool is busy and the pool for the camp site closes between 1 and 4 for siesta. This severely disrupted our enjoyment of our time there. During this time you are also not allowed to leave the campsite by car. I understand that they are trying to encourage a peaceful atmosphere but again this limits what you can and can't do. My son had wanted to play football on the large pitch but we were told repeatedly by different members of staff that you could only use this if you payed 50 euros. I then asked about other activities and sports tournaments but again nobody seemed to know. It was only on day 5 when I asked again that I was told that their was football matches on the football pitch every day at 4.30 by which point we were at the end of our holiday. Having said all this Sarteano is lovely, the area around the campsite beautiful and the staff worked hard and were very friendly. We did the cooking course which was brilliant and very reasonable too. I did write and complain to the campsite and got a very nice e.mail back apologising for our experience so hopefully they might make some improvements.

Dear Adam D, we are sorry if your holiday at our camping village was not in line with your expectations. I can only repeat what was already said verbally by our staff and via email by our bureau, but evidently was not sufficient if you feel the need to write a further negative review, one and half month after your stay. Our mobile homes are advertised on our web site, with lots of photos and precise details, including prices. They host many guests, who are generally happy and satisfied about them. How can so many people be wrong? But you were not satisfied, so we changed immediately. For sure we can’t eliminate children and nature, because living in a camping for families means tolerating an essential part of it. For sure our mobile homes are all clean at the same level. The prices you pay are justified for instance by the largest pitches and largest spaces you can find in a camping, the large park and several sport facilities, as well as the natural water of our pools. But for sure you know that these are not common qualities within camping villages. The siesta hours are common in many camping villages, and this is done for customers like you, who want to relax because cars make too much noise, or people in the swimming pool are making too much noise (in particular children, that we host in thousands and have disturbed you). That’s why we close the swimming pool in the camping site during this time. But we have other 2 swimming pools which are open all day long, where you can stay during siesta hours. What you call “large pitch” for football is a regular football ground, where to play matches and whose cost is in line with likely grounds around Italy. Have you checked that? Do you know that we have a weekly animation program that is attached in every board (in the camping, at the reception, at the telephone office, at the bar), on our web site and on our telegram channel, all details delivered at your arrival at the camping? Maybe you have missed that. So again, and hopefully for the last time, we apologies if you were not satisfied and are sorry to receive such a severe score, after our staff did all what was possible to meet all of your requests and make your holiday better. Regards

We landed in this campsite after a day's tour of lovely Montepulciano. The place is clean, the services are super. But that's just about it. Being September it had a strong end-of-season feel. In fact one of the swimming pools was shut down. When it came to paying there was no end-of-season feel though. One small camper and two persons for one night threw us back €52.

Dear FenechDumink, we apologies if 26 € per person a day is too much, for staying in a 4 star camping village, ranked 4,5/5 by Adac and 5 by Acsi, with 2 opened swimming pools (in your period of stay) fed by natural water, a large park, the largest pitches you can find in camping villages, the location in the town of Sarteano, free Wifi access. Just to mention a few. We hope you will reconsider your point of view and give us another chance! Regards The Director

We recently returned from a 10 day camping holiday in Sarteano and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our boys (8 and 11 years old) found it very easy to make friends though poolside play, table tennis and daily activities (football, disco and a kids club). The restaurant has freshly made and tasty pizzas and many other options and is great value for money. The 3 swimming pools are a great size and a good location to relax - it’s a nice atmosphere with locals using the pools too. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Siena and Florence and other fabulous towns aren’t far away and Sarteano itself is a lovely little town with a genuine local feel. We would highly recommend the campsite.

Dear stephano938, many thanks for your precious review, we are very satisfied that you had a great time at our camping village. We apologize if the WLAN was not in line with your expectations, it might be caused by a peak of utilization that might happen temporarily in this period. Every year we continue to invest to improve the capacity of this free of charge service, that currently covers already the entire camping village, and of course will continue to do so next year. We look forward to seeing you next year, when you will experience an even better Wifi connection! Best Regards

We were here rather early in the year, so were not able to enjoy the facilities as you might in the summer (two of the pools closed and the thermal pool wasn't really warm enough to swim in), but definitely enjoyed our stay. Very clean and abundant facilities. Close to supermarket and the charming town center.

Dear Yvonneo585, thanks for your holiday at our village. We have indeed 2 additional swimming pools (one for childrens with slopes and one reserved to the camping guests), which open starting from May/June, all fed by the same natural water which springs at constant 24 C for all the 3 swimming pools. We are happy to read that you appreciated our strategic local in the town and enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you next time in the high season as well! Kind Regards The Director
