We had a wonderfull stay in the Tjugum cabin! The location couldn’t be more perfect, on the fjord with a view of snowy mountains and Balestrand on the other side of the water. We only had 2 days in this heavenly spot, took the time to enjoy the views and visit the interesting town of Balestrand. There you find the beautifull St. Olav’s Church and the Kviknes Hotel with the chair of Kaiser Wilhelm II where he got the telegram that World War I had started… Anders and his wife are very nice hosts, the cabin is clean and nicely decorated. I absolutely recommend a stay here!!!

We are regular Airbnb travelers and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Located on the peninsula with a private boat dock (pier), near the Dragsvik Hotel/Restaurant with all fresh and local fish, butcher and vegetables on their dinner menu. Also it is close to a ferry (drive in auto) to travel to the most beautiful fjords. Located a few miles away from Balestrand with nice restaurants ( most definitely try fish soup) and cafes, also it is about a mile away from the hiking trail to one of the Mountains with amazing views. Communication was great and the owner was friendly and warm. We would highly recommend this wonderful house.
