Stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The staff were great and very helpful and welcoming. The view from our room was wonderful, wish we could have brought it home with us. Breakfasts were fine, evening meals - a set menu, with the food well presented and tasty. We were allocated one room on the first night,...

This place is really all about the fantastic scenery and location. The hotel is nice, and the staff very friendly. Food is ok but I doubt you will see much better scenery from any other dining room. You need a car too. This place is out of town. I very nearly stayed another night even though I had already paid...

Stayed in one of the detached cabins (Orreten) on the property as love the flexibility of self-catering especially to prepare packed lunches for long days out (but can also use the hotel facilities). This cabin is ideal for a couple (although sleeps up to 4 I think, 2 on a pull out sofa bed), it's all one living space with...

Our room was absolutely great. It faced the fjord so the view was fantastic. The owner's were very caring and helpful. The breakfast selection was very good. The dinner menu was of good variety and the prices were not terrible; this is,after all, Norway. HOWEVER, you must realize the location is on the other side of the inlet from where...

Due to a flight delay we arrived at the Dragsvik Fjordhotel very late at night. We called early in the evening to arrange a late check-in and Anne assured us someone would be there when we arrived. She even offered to keep two plates of dinner warm for us. When we finally arrived, exhausted from a long and frustrating day...

Firstly, the hotel is within a great setting. Fabulous views across the fjord. We just spent the afternoon outside with a coffee and a book soaking up the spectacular view. There's also a local tortoiseshell pussy cat, who often around the premises and spent a good couple of hours curled up in our laps or chasing sticks which also made...

What a view from the terrace and breakfast room/restaurant. Spacious rooms, friendly owner. Grab a beer or a coffee on arrival and just next to hotel and little cabin, and take in the views. The fantastic views over the fjords are on two sides, it is a peaceful spot, just at the Ferry terminal. Very convenient overnight stay we had...

Everything is clean and well maintained. Furniture seemed new – so not tatty – it worked with décor. Staff was very friendly and anxious to please. Beds are very comfortable. Nice to have a bedroom separate from the living room. WiFi is fast and reliable. Breakfast is the usual Norwegian – good quality. QUIET. This property is a quite a...

We stayed in the hotel last year and loved it so much we booked one of the cabins for a week this June. What can we say - perfect location, perfect Hotel Manager in Magnar and super cabin. My husband and I brought a friend and we found everything we needed and more here. This is an excellent base for...
