A B&B of high architectural quality. Fantastic modern rooms. Superb bed. Free tea and water on the room. A beautiful, spaceous location at the river Vez. Lots of space to relax individually in different settings. Excellent walking-and running possibilities along the river Vez (Ecovia). Valérie and Tina were excellent hosts. The best breakfast ever with loads of different fruits. Really...

We stayed for 3 days and the owner/hostess was always there to help with every single detail. There are only a few rooms and quite large loft windowed to the river. The hotel was fully booked and there was plenty space inside and outside (the property ends by the left margin of the river with a beautiful garden where the...

We spent a wonderful week relaxing at Casa do Rio Vez. It is in a beautiful setting next to the river, where you can swim or walk along the Ecovia. Valerie is a fantastic host, she is knowledgable about the local area and was keen to help us plan our holiday. She made sure we knew about local events, such...

Valarie and Anabel could not have been more gracious and helpful. Although we were only two Valarie put on a breakfast fit for a half dozen lumber jacks. She is very knowledgeable of the area and quite anxious to help us plan our days. Each morning she presented us with a new taste of the local breads, cheeses, etc. The...

The location is excellent for exploring the Peneda Geres National Park, the nearest 'gateway' is up the road at Mezio (you would need a car) The house itself is a delightful oasis - right next to a river (in which you can swim) with...

The hotel was located just out of the nearest town, about 5 min drive. There were several restaurants around and the owners happily provided us their recommendation. The house is located just by the river Vez. Around can be found a walking path along the river all the way to town. Also good for a short run (about 2K). The...

My husband and parents spent a restful time in this beautifully converted olive mill. Marvelous breakfast. Great restaurant suggestions. Lush green environment! A must if you are in this area of Portugal. Bring your camera, sketchbook and pencils.

An idyllic location, sorrounded by a crystalline river where, among the fertile vegetation, frogs and even otter can be seen. Decorate with a very fine taste. Every morning is a celebration, wonderful breakfast. A green valley rounded of mountains, trails and amazing places nearby. Casa do Rio Vez is a space to rest and forget about the stress, with natural...
