This hotel really makes me proud! From room decoration to food quality and variety and service, this hotel really stands out from all the hotels in Poiana Brasov that we stayed at next to the ski gondola. We had a standard double room which could have been larger, but the quality of the interior was very good. Everything is spotless and they offer great service over all. Breakfast was way over the top with so many fresh and delicious options. We also had dinner here and it was the first time in a while we had seen an impeccable service (the food was also very good). They have a well trained staff that makes you feel spoiled. The spa has a good variety of sauna types and massage (make sure that you book massage in advance as they have a high demand).

Everything is perfect in this hotel. If all hotels were like this, the tourists would be happier. The location is a paradise in front of the forest, near the ski slopes. You can rent or leave your ski stuff at the ski locker, which is wide, clean and well equiped. The staff is amazing, very polite and very well trained. They are fast and useful, truly professional. And I mean all!!!
Everybody speaks English, the restaurant is perfect, with amazing view, the breakfast meets all the expectations of a 5star hotel, the meals a la carte are delicios, the have a wide selection of wines.
You have complimentaty lemonade in the lobby and in the winter the hotel dresses in the magic of Christmas and the atmosphere is amazing.
They have nice spa, ski instructors, they have it all.
Right across the street you have even a store with all the ski stuff you may need, Rossignol.
You can buy your ski pass right from the spot where is the telecabin who takes you up at Postavaru Massif, on top of Poiana Brasov and Brasov. The place and the slope is amazing. You cannot compare it to austrian slopes, which are wider, but you can have a perfect vacantion in Poiana Brasov if you find snow.
You can rent from the hotel even a sleigh. The air is fresh and amazing, the balconies wide, the double superior room perfect: spacious and with a large wardrobe.
Big bathroom, big room. The cosy wood theme of the hotel is amazing, so warm and nice.

We have just been to Teleferic again this winter season for skiing. The Teleferic stands out as a hotel of real excellence from the rooms, the spa, restaurant, the décor, quality of food and level and quality of service. This is of course not to mention the perfect location - situated walking distance from the gondola to the main pistes. The hotel has its own ski hire, ski locker and ski school. The instructors at the ski school are friendly, highly skilled, good teachers, but make you feel safe and confident on the slopes. We'll be back next year.....

The hotel is very nicely arranged, with appropriately large rooms, with wood prepared so that it looks old, neat, beautiful bathrooms, large restaurant, generous parking included in the price. But ... these are things meant to drive away your mood. For several years, the hotel owner (or administration) has hired staff from somewhere in Southeast Asia. In principle, they are young and nice, if you do not interact with them. Even after 4-5 years, young Asians have not learned Romanian, and their English is very weak. They are not trained to be empathetic, they do not smile, they do not connect with customers. This is a major inconvenience to the hotel. It is a great pity to invest, if those with whom provide the interface are not up to it.And one more thing: the business dinner was very modest, in a buffet arranged with 2 main courses and 3 side dishes. At 190 euros / night, somehow you expect more. Otherwise, mountain, close to the slope and gondola, forest, jacuzzi.

The hotel is perfectly located for skiers, right in front of the ski slopes and that alone, having considered the hassle required to travel by car to ski slopes anywhere around Prahova Valley is a very big plus. And the hotel itself really is beautiful, especially if you are lucky enough, (like we were), to have snow contribute to the fairytale-like scenery.
The room was good, not memorable, small, but good enough. Breakfast was also great, not a single thing I could complain about.
The spa area would also have been great if basic common sense rules and hotel rules would have been followed. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There are posters everywhere stating that children are not allowed in the sauna area. However, many of the guests could not be bothered to read and/or follow a simple rule. The sauna area is beautiful, but quite small and the children opening and closing the sauna's door every two minutes ruined the entire experience. Same goes for the relaxation area which was so loud and crowded that you almost felt like using earplugs. The two jacuzzis outside were amazing, sadly, although another poster clearly stated that they were to be used for no longer than 20 minutes, they were simply untouchable because people where using it as a bar where they drank their bottles of champagne or simply hogging it for one hour or more. Of course you could have the spa for yourself at 1 pm, if you were willing to give up skiing, but it was a nightmare every single day after 3 pm. We did complain several times at the reception and at the spa, but we got the same disrespectful answer "we cannot do anything about it".
The reception staff was quite stiff and of no help whatsoever, the staff in the buffet area was a pleasure to deal with, on the other hand. They were attentive and helpful, the management is to be congratulated on this matter.
We have stayed there last year, late March, and found a somewhat decent price at the time. We have thought about returning this year, but the prices have gone over the roof. We are well traveled and I can honestly say I have never seen such a hudge gap between the asking price and the services provided. Not in Romania, nor anywhere else. However, I would still consider returning here if and when the price would not be simply insulting and if and when the spa area would ever become a more relaxing and civilized one, rather than the complete mayhem that it was when we last visited.

We loved staying at the Teleferic Grand resort. The hotel is perfectly located, very close to the ski slope, we've had a lovely time in early Spring of 2021... much more than we've expected. The hotel has very nice rooms, with a great view of the mountains, the staff is very nice and this creates the right atmosphere so you can relax and leave your worries at home. We would like to thank Raluca from the reception, she made us feel special during our stay!

Lets start by addressing the hotel, all good, well maintained premises, a spa with a small indoor pool and 2 outdoor Jacuzzi. The all wood overall theme looks amazing, and it was interesting the amount of effort in maintaining the flower buckets visible on all balconies. The highlight for me was the breakfast though. I've yet to see the same level of breakfast yet, anywhere else I've been yet. You get spoiled with choices to the point where you don't know what to pick. You feel like having some nuts? Sure! Walnuts, peanuts, almonds, pistachio and 5 more i didn't even knew what they were. Fruits, like 10 types, fruit skewers with a chocolate fountain, doughnuts, honey comb, omelette station, an entire jambon Serrano leg you could cut from. Anyways you get the picture, I would say the entire menu consisted of at least 100 different items, from bakery to fruits and spices. Will definitely come again, maybe just for the challenge of tasting everything.

The hotel was much more than we thought it would be.
We were three families, with 3 children each.
The suite we got had two rooms - a large main room connected to a parents room. Each had a bath. The rooms were very clean spacious and very well equipped.
overall the rooms were great.
The inner pool was nice refuge in a cold day for the kids and the outside jacuzzi was a real treat in the snowy weather.
The hotel restaurant was very good with a very diverse breakfast buffet.
Staff was very kind and the service level was high.

Stayed for two nights in this hotel, in September 2020. Breakfast is amazing, with lots of options. Rooms are very clean and modern, you also have a balcony. The most amazing thing is staff hospitality. The Philipine stuff is absolutely amazing, every thing you want , they are there, very friendly and ready to meet your demands. Best hospitality i ever experienced worldwide in a hotel until this moment.

It is a superb location where you and your family can connect and relax.
1. We had a junior suite very comfy (we are a family of three). The beds were very confortable, I enjoyed also the pillows (usually, in other places, I have a problem with that).
The room was big enought for us, clean, and the bathrooms were equiped with all necesarry (products from Rituals).
2. The restaurants and the Lobby Bar have a very professional and friendly staff. The food was delicios, drinks as well.
At breakfast we had a really large variety of choices, everything looking delicious as well.
3. The spa area (3 kinds of saunas), one pool and the 2 hot tubes outside was a really enjoyable experience. We recommand the therapysts from massage services. They were really good giving us a relaxing experience!
4. The staff from the reception was very efficient both at check in and check out!
We will recommand and return whenever we can with great pleasure! Thank you again!

Hi Del86 Thanks for your question. My review, like all the others I did, fully reflects my actual experience. I understand your concerns on 2 key issues as I red the other comments you referred to: SERVICE: overall the service is very good professional and friendly. I agree and mentioned it that the bar staff needs further training especially when the bar may be very busy. Yet I think the 1 hr comment seems grossly exaggerated. FOOD: Breakfast buffet is ample, well presented and good. Dinner a la carte is also good. The menu is short and reflects the season. Wine list is well balanced and correctly priced (I compare to Bucharest restaurants where I live) If you go I am sure you will enjoy your staying. Ciao Alessio

Good morning. We confirm you that we have in our hotel two types of rooms with doors separating the areas for more privacy: the Economy Junior Suite situated at the ground floor (that has a door that separates the bedroom from the sitting area and the Deluxe Apartment (the bigest room in our hotel situated only at the forth floor).
