San Sebastian - Donostia, Spain

I have stayed in this hotel on business in a couple of occasions and I have enjoyed its tranquility, service and amenities. It is located very close to Hondarribia's city center, in a quite residential neighbourhood. You can easily walk to the town center where most restaurants are placed, but still you are detached from the hustle. The room are...

My wife and I stopped here for a couple of nights as part of a trip round the Basque country. Although slightly away from the town centre we found it ideal - nice room, friendly staff and very good evening meal at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights this August. It is quite well located just 10 minute walk from city centre. Room nice but a bit small for a suite and price. Breakfast dissapointing. Scarce variety and service low average. No smoked salmon nor iberico ham no poached eggs. You had to make yr own juice while cook watching doing nothing!

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Jaizkibel and were very pleasantly surprised on our arrival. The image of the hotel on the website does not do it justice. It is located in a residential area and a 10 minute walk to the old walled town. This worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed the walk on both days, and an...

The rooms were very nice. The location was great - right in the middle of town and lots of shops and restaurants. We loved the hotel's restaurant, Enbata, too. The staff was great and helpful with all our requests. The air conditioning worked well too which was nice since it was hot while we were there. The street behind the...

The room was on the small side but perfectly formed, it had everything we wanted, even a little balcony. It overlooked the gardens. The parking was free and the breakfast included in the price. At the equivalent of £115.00 it was pricy. We walked into town having been given excellent directions by the receptionist and found a restasurant. It was...

We stayed at this property because of the Jazz/Blues festival in town and were very impressed overall. It's a 10 minute walk to the centre of town (once you discover the escalators that simplify the walk...ask the front desk) and in a residential area. We noticed a parking lot but we didn't have a car and still found the location...

On a Steves' trek about 2003 or so in the Pyrenees, and we ended here as an alternate to a parador in the town. Excellent choice. Loved the chic of this place, somewhat an oasis from the hubbub of the town, which is nice too. Very festive in town and relaxing at the hotel, after about a fifteen minute walk....

This smart, low-key hotel provided an excellent base for heading in to San Sebastian, 30 minutes spectacular drive away. And Honderribia is a really attractive small town: historic old centre, and livelier, exceptionally neat, commercial district just 10 minutes away using an impressive series of escalators. Great staff at the hotel itself, and a comfortable, not particularly large, room. Safe,...

This is a true gem. A little removed from main street but its only a short walk away Furthermore, the town installed electric stairways all the way to the top and bottom so they took the rough part of the walk away. Staff, room everything excellent. Strongly recommend!!! Great value too.
