We were here for one night, on route home from Edinburgh. The location is good as it's not too far from the motorway. The room we were in was a little tired, but very warm and the bed was comfy. The shower door did not completely fit the frame, but it didn't seem to leak, which was good, plus the...

I stayed one night at the hotel, as I needed to be near Knutsford for a meeting in the morning. The location is good and, with some investment, this hotel could be outstanding. The staff were professional and charming and the bed was very comfortable. However, it is a long time since I've seen an avocado suite in a bathroom...

Attended a wedding here and have to say the wedding was lovely. Good food & staff were great. We stayed in the family room which was clean and spacious but beds not very comfy. The whole feel of the hotel is quite tired and dated though which is a shame.

Me and my husband got married here at Wincham Hall on Thursday 25th August. The day was absolutely perfect. We first met sue over 18 months ago when we went to visit wincham hall as our potential wedding venue. From the moment we arrived sue made us feel comfortable and we fell in love with the building and it's beautiful...

We stayed here for one night last week. The front of house was bright, and cheerful, clean and tidy. They no longer do meals but there is a pub that does very good tapas at the end of the road, about 15 minutes walk along a very busy road. There is a path. The bedrooms were clean and tidy if...

Yesterday my husband and I got married at this absolute gem of a hotel. From booking day till wedding day they have nothing but helpful, friendly and totally professional. The day itself was so lovely, with everyone commenting on the food and the organisation, the brownies were particularly good! Special mention goes to the wonderful Sue, who made what could...

Pleasant helpful staff working in a very tired hotel. Narrow stairs to a dark corridor with intermittent lighting lead to our room. Comfortable bed but one bedside light had a dead bulb in it. Electric shower was very erratic changing from stone cold to very hot for no apparent reason. Curtain fabric perished by sunlight. We were advised when booking...

We would like to thank all the staff at Wincham Hall for a truly fantastic memorable wedding day 10th June, especially Sue, Claire and Alan who are so efficient and professional, but who also felt like our friends. Over the 18 months preparing for our wedding they were there to guide, help and advise us in making our day so...

Stayed here over weekend for family wedding which went very well. Service impeccable. Wedding breakfast lovely, although the evening buffet wasn't so good (very cheap inedible sausage buns) Breakfast wasn't included in the room rate which seemed a bit tight for this sort of hotel. Room dated but clean and comfortable. Really could have done with some water in the...

After staying at this place I know understand why it's called hotel and "garden" .. Because the garden is the only nice part about it. As I opened the door to my room my nose was offended by a stench that can only be described as week old work socks. Very dated decor, and carpeted bathrooms, which I am always...
