What a super nice place. Real working farm. Breakfast to die for. Very friendly. Great location to explore the area. Good dog friendly pubs in Haltwhistle but arrive early if you want dinner. Will come back to the B& B soon.
We recently spent two night at Wydon Farms and couldn't have been happier. We were in the area from the US exploring Hadrian's Wall. Some thoughts: The rooms are spacious and spotless clean and lots of extras like tips on the area and the story of the farm Easy to find Lovely spot to sit outside Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh for you Quick drive into town for dinner or close to other country pubs Linda and John were very welcoming and helpful with communication before our arrival. Met our every need.
Linda is an awesome host! Cosy tidy spacious rooms in a masterly converted building, a fresh delicious breakfast (try out the pancakes!), loads of information on surrounding area and events. On a farm. Dream come true. Thank you for our holiday🌟
My wife and I stayed here for just one night but wished we had more time! The farm is in a spectacular location about 15 minutes away from some of the key Hadrian's Wall sites. It is also just down the road from Haltwhistle where there are a number of local restaurants. The room at Wydon was excellent with a lot of space, comfortable bed and large updated bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Linda was very kind and informative.
My wife and I stopped off here after flying in to Newcastle Airport from our holiday. It's an easy travelling distance and very accommodating host. Not far off the A69, it's easy to find and a very comfly night's sleep. Superb breakfast, using local, wholesome ingredients. Hightly recommended!
