I stayed here with my partner for just the one night, with the purpose of nighttime photography on Haidrians Wall. What and absolute gem of a place. There are just three room on site all located in a renovated barn. Each one is slightly different so I’m told. We stayed in Bluebell. A lovely spacious and comfortable room. The room had a king size bed and an extra single bed so ideal for families too. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a huge wall in shower/wet room. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided with a good supply of everything and fresh milk waiting for us in the fridge. There was also a microwave and toaster if you need to make use off.
The breakfast was amazing with a large selection of cereals, fruit, juices, yoghurt & honey as well as croissants. All followed by a delicious full English. Really set us up for the following day.
Each room has its own separate private entrance so if your coming and going late you don’t disturb others guest.
Linda was a fabulous host and made us feel very welcome. A lovely place to stay and I am certain we will be back.
The B&B is on a working farm and it was lovely to be woken to the sound of sheep being rounded up.

We were welcomed as we climbed out of the car, and throughout the stay were urged to ask if we needed anything. Excellent room; large, extremely comfortable bed bed and a lovely bathroom. We were given a great welcome and advice on places to find food and beer in Haltwhistle, a pleasant walk on a lovely summer evening. Breakfast was wonderful, including hot croissants, which we weren't expecting. Linda was happy to give us some local history; sadly the books which usually live in the rooms have been removed for the duration of COVID regulations. She also made very sound recommendations about where to go for the bits of Hadrian's wall that we wanted to see

After being delayed due to an accident on route and arrived later than I expected we were both over the moon with how nice the owners are. With us wanting to grab a bite to eat in the village we had limited time and Linda went out of her way and dropped us off in time and also collected us later that night.

The room itself was lovely and clean and very well presented, we did not have time to try the whirlpool bath unfortunately. The location I would expect is great for walkers who want to investigate the area and good locality overall.

I booked it for my 50th birthday after reading reviews and have to say I agree with them all. Oh the breakfast !!! Was stunning, with heaps of choice Infact my motorbike was feeling the strain of the extra weight :) .

I would recommend this b and b to anyone wanting to travel to the area.

Thanks again Jay and Marie

The room is well designed and very comfortable with a small kitchen (small fridge, microwave, kettle, dishes etc). The bed was great. Breakfast was fantastic with everything you'd want to eat and more. The couple who own the property couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely love to stay here again. I highly recommended this B&B.

I stayed at Wydon Farm for two nights on my own and I couldn't have stayed in a nicer place.

Linda was so welcoming and thoughtful and my room was lovely and spacious with a lounge area, very large wet room and a lovely stable door out to a pretty, private courtyard.

I wandered round the farm to stretch my legs and managed to talk to an interesting collection of hens and pullets on the grass outside, followed by a conversation with two horses who seemed to appreciate a good stroke and a chat! Finished the tour with a look at the flock of sheep grazing on the hillside.

Beautiful surrounding countryside and all so near for the Roman Army Museum, Vindolanda and Haltwhistle.

Breakfast was divine, with a choice of anything you liked, as was the evening meal Linda very kindly cooked for me. Gorgeous food and tons of it! She should win Farmer’s Wife Hospitality of the Year!

Only 3 bedrooms but all en suite and beautifully decorated. We chose the Primrose room as we like the walk in shower.
Tea and coffe making facilities, a toaster and microwave should you wish, tv and hair dryer.
A workig farm also but veryquiet.
Breakfast is a real treat, honey and yoghurt, cereals if you wish, croissants and freshly cooked full English with plenty of options all overseen by Linda.
Easy access to Haltwhistle (20 minute walk for the more able) good public transport links and within reaching distance of Hadrians Wall.
Highly recommended.

Fabulous B&B! We stayed here a few weeks ago, whilst doing Hadrains Wall Walk. From the moment you meet Linda, you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Linda provided a complimentary collection and drop off lift for 3 off staying there. We booked two double rooms, both were spacious and the facilities were done to a high standard, extremely clean and very quiet. The food for breakfast and our packed lunch were delicious. Linda is certainly the perfect host and very professional. The only regret we have was not being able to stay for a long period of time. We will certainly be returning and #highlyrecommend #wydonfarm. Thank you so much.

Linda and John were such helpful and kind hosts. Linda picked us up from the Hadrian's Wall path and dropped us off the following morning and John took us to and from the pub for our evening meal. The room was stunning and spacious, plenty of room for the 3 of us. Breakfast was a perfect, generous farmhouse meal, with loads of variety, whether you like a full English or have lighter tastes. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room was stylish and all the extras, including the superior toiletries, fridge, biscuits, boot tray and suitcase stand made for a wonderful stay. The area is beautiful and there is plenty to explore. We should have stayed here for 2 nights!

Great find, lovely en suite accommodation which has everything you need, lovely breakfast in the main farmhouse in the morning. We are early risers so by the time we had finished our breakfast and were leaving other guests were just arriving to eat. Linda and her husband were friendly hosts and we really appreciated their hospitality. A safe environment to stay if you were travelling alone. Great location for exploring and walking.
