This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely hotel on a 2 night Travelzoo break. The room was very nice and warm on a cold November night. The dinner and breakfast are excellent and staff very friendly.

Good hotel, good food and lovely staff. Nice log fire in bar and lovely beamed bedroom and huge bed, what's not to like. We had a Travelzoo deal and got free tickets to Blenheim Palace which was our reason for the trip. The village is very nice too

We stayed 2 nights while visiting sights in the area - Bath, Stonehenge, etc. Our room was in the separate building at the back, so extra privacy and no stairs. There was parking available right by the room. Dinner in their dining room was very good, and the bar area was cozy and friendly. The day we left, we took... More

We stayed here at the second time of asking after a previous issue. The room we stayed in was a good size & cosy with the heating on. The service we received was very good and the breakfast delicious. We only stayed one night but the bed was comfortable with a good size bathroom. I would recommend it as a... More

We came to the White Hart Inn for a two night stay in October as we wanted to do some sightseeing in Oxford & to visit Blenheim Palace. We had arrived too early for check in but the staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags with them so we could go off into Oxford. When we came... More

Hotel car park at rear of hotel. Hotel itself is very oldey worldey and nicely furnished. Hotel is 3 star BUT staff are a 6 star group of friends. Nothing is too much trouble night and day. Go here and relax and have a great break..Receptionists are also super, called Wendy and Angel. Food is very nice and drinks reasonably... More

This hotel was in a beautiful village and the food when we arrived very late on the Friday was delicious. However we arrived with only 15 minutes before food service stopped and this was on a Friday night at 845. There was nowhere for miles and if we had arrived later we would have been stuck with a drive into... More

We have spent some time researching this one and we are a little confused. All our ground floor rooms have net curtains, no sockets are impeded by pipes, and most importantly we serve food beyond 9.30pm. Are you sure this was the hotel you stayed in? Please phone General Manager Sean Harris who would really like to help sort this... More

We had room 20 which was on the ground floor and enormous. As well as a king sized bed there was a lounge area, and an office area. There were one or 2 decoration issues but understandable for a building of that age.

We loved it here. Food was amazing, staff really lovely, service excellent, drinks reasonable but our room was such a disappointment. The heating wasn't working. Wasn't particularly clean, bedside lamp not working . The room was really shabby, peeling paintwork, old tired pictures, dirty window surrounds, broken tiles in the bathroom. Ceiling lights damaged and weren't flush with ceiling. We... More

Thank you for taking time to review and all the positive comments. Although I must stress that the room you stayed in was clean, it is in need of some refurbishment. This scheduled for the very near future. More
