Lovely house, lovely people, definitely the best night of our cycling trip round the west country, and they sent my waterproof jacket back when I left it behind. Really comfortable and a great view from the room

We were meeting up with a number of old school friends in Mere to visit another friend who was coming over from Australia. With our families, ten of us booked into Chetcombe House in January. Rosie made our booking and was extremely helpful as we needed four rooms with varying numbers of children also needing beds. On arrival, the house...

A few weeks before travelling to Devon for our honeymoon we decided to book a B&B to break up the journey (4.5hr drive) After a search on tripadvisor we decided to book Chetcombe House. From the first telephone call to checking in and out Rosie was extremely pleasant and helpful, even providing toothpaste as we had forgotten to pack some....

We stayed at Chetcombe House at the end of October to enjoy the Autumn colours at Stourhead. We only stayed a couple of nights but the House, Garden and particularly the hosts were wonderful. My wife has a number of dietary issues which Rosie was only too happy to accommodate. As per the previous reviews we could not fault anything...

My friend was very fortunate to find the 6 of us accommodation at the Chetcombe and I have to say she came up trumps. Rosie & Jerry were the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble. The 3 rooms we occupied overlooked the garden and fields beyond. All rooms were spotless. It was the 1st weekend in October and when...

This was a very convenient choice of venue as we need to join the A303 early morning and return home without too much traffic impeding our progress. Rosie and Jerry made us very welcome and accommodated our request for an earlier breakfast than is normal. Our room was very comfortable - the bed was luxurious and the room overlooked fields....
