This is our second visit. Rosie and Gerry are fabulous hosts and the bed and breakfast is comfortable and tastefully decorated with an amazing breakfast! Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Stayed there with my wife last Saturday night, after a mix-up with the accommodation booked nearby. Jerry & Rosie greeted us on arrival and made us feel really welcome - even though it was quite late in the evening. Everything about Chetcombe House is a wonderful experience - absolutely brilliant ! First class B&B !

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weekend stay at Chetcombe House B&B. We received a warm welcome from Rosie, one of the proprietors. We arrived around 8:30pm & after asking if we were hungry, she offered to drive us to the local town to get a bite to eat. We thought it was such a kind gesture,...

An overnight stay and a visit to a friend in Mere. What an excellent find. Just off the A303, but you'd never know. We had an unimpeded view of the countryside and somehow there was no noise from the main road. Very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. I had Gerry's blueberry pancakes as recommended by others - and was...

My husband and I have just returned from a couple of days' stay at Chetcombe House and were delighted to find it just as good in every way as previous reviewers have stated. Rosie and Gerry are wonderful hosts and spare no effort to ensure that their guests have all they could possibly need, whether that is information and advice...

My family and I recently stayed at Chetcombe House as we were down in Wiltshire for a family wedding. The hospitality we received from Rosie and Jerry was fantastic. My 3 month old nephew came with us as did my 86 year old Grandmother and the whole family had a very pleasant stay. We were provided with a travel cot...

This is the second time I have stayed at Chetcombe House and once again I was so impressed with the service received. The room was immaculate with all the "little extras" that mean so much, beds comfortable and food amazing. Nothing seems too much for Rosie and Jerry, they certainly are the perfect hosts. The first time I stayed with...

Have just returned from staying at Chetcombe House with my family. The accommodation is first class, spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfasts and lovely gardens at the back of the property which you are able to sit outside and enjoy. As we were attending a family wedding, i contacted Rosie on several occasions for advice on taxis, flower shop,...

We stayed here after visiting Stourhead. Rosie is the perfect host. The breakfast is gorgeous, perfectly cooked and no music/radio playing - great! Everything is spotless, comfy bed, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed at Chetcombe House B&B and on both occasions we have been really impressed with the accommodation, service and scrummy breakfast. The rooms are immaculate, beds comfortable, food delicious and Rosie and Jerry are the perfect hosts. Would highly recommend.
