We arrived 30 minutes before the authorised check in time and decided to ask if we could leave the car in the car park. We rang the doorbell and were ushered in to see if our room was ready. It was and we were checked in and given a quick resume of Porthmadog, places to see and places to eat...

Great bed and breakfast,high quality rooms situated at the end of the Main Street of Porthmadog ..only continental breakfast is served , but oh what choice !! Cereals , fruit , nuts and a choice of bread , various teas and coffees available .friendly and very helpfull staff . GREAT PLACE TO STAY .

Efficient check-in with lots of good advise on where to eat (and where not to eat) locally. The room was quite plain, but the beds were comfortable and there was a TV, a kettle - and a fan which was great in the hot weather. Breakfast is a buffet affair down in the dining room. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as a base to explore the Snowdon railway, and the local area. The welcome we received was outstanding, with lots of information on what to do and where to go. For many years we have visited Porthmadog to ride the steam trains and have always stayed at the Tudor Lodge. It is very well located in the town, quiet and very clean and well presented.
