Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great hotel right on the sea front. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Just what we needed for a couple of days away to relax, room had everything we needed and couldn’t fault it. We will definitely be returning and the beach has had a good clean up too since the last night we visited Rhyl.

Arrived just before 2 and cassie was in the reception explained how we could park and pop our number plate into the screen in reception which we did. Upon arrival to check in just after 3 it was busy and she was all on her own but still had the best service despite being rushed off her feet. As a family 1 parent 2 daughters and a grand daughter, upon arrival to our room was a golden ticket when going out for our evening we took it with us and both children given a drink and sweets even the 15 year old which we couldn’t fault. Given all information we needed the only thing as a downside was the front door was out of service so everyone was using the back door which late at night didn’t feel very safe down the side streets. Non disabled parking could be marked clearer in the hotel carpark but it was easily accessible. Room was clean and tidy windows outside could do with a wash but all in all would return if needed too this was just a 1 night stop gap

We have been coming here the last 5 years, a few weekends a year. Very disappointed to see how this place is going. Police are always there for something going on with people who are staying there. All I could smell all weekend on the floor we was staying on was drugs. Very roudy people that seems like they are having parties in their rooms. Staff are OK but not as nice and helpful as they used to be. The place is starting to look tatty now.

Upon arrival at 10pm at night front entrance was not working sign stated use the rear of the hotel, no signs saying which way to go not good if my Mrs was on her own as the side streets ae not very well lit, pointed this out at reception but I could tell the male receptionist was not interested in my comment re a sign of where to go from the front, the door looked like it had not worked for sometime. Room was as expected but the smell from the drains in the bathroom was appalling and I am glad I only stayed the one night as we had to keep the door shut at all times due to the smell. Wont be staying again will use the travel lodge near by as it was slightly cheaper but i stay in premier inns quite a lot with work and they are generally quite good but I think their standards are starting to slip as I have noticed at a few hotels lately that I have stayed at up and down th UK.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, a great night's sleep. Given the great location it was quiet. The car park was close by. Tea, coffee and milk were available at all times to take upto the room from reception, many hotels limit you to what is in your room but not here.

Very disappointed. Booked a twin room To find the sofa bed had not been made up, I asked the reception and was told it would be made up for us. We got back late and was tired to learn the bed was not made up consequently had to sleep with my friend in fact I never slept and couldn't ask reception as they were not there. In addition I didn't like the fact that one of the reception (AJ) I think his name was became very flirty with my daughters friend to learn that he met up with them later and took them back to his apartment . I book the premier inns perhaps 9 or 20 times a year and for several years I won't be going back to Rhyl

On arrival the entrance was covered in cigarette butts. The front door was not working so the back door had to be used all the time. The initial welcome we received was not very friendly. We asked if we could check in early and the lady on the desk was quite sharp when she said no it’s half term so we’re busy. The glasses were dirty. I had to wash them. The tea and coffee was not topped up. There was no hair dryer. I asked for one on the first night. The man on reception said he would find us one. We never heard from him again. I asked again in the morning. We were told that they only had ones in boxes that had not been PAT tested but he would take one from another room! He came back with one that was was held together with tape covered in dust inside and was last PAT tested in Dec 22. The bathroom was mouldy as the extractor fan was not working and by the look of the mould had not been working for a while. The shower was not screwed to the wall properly and the shower head was filthy with scale and mould. The water was coming out of the top of the head spraying the room. The man on reception came to the room to ‘fix’ shower. It took him three visits to realise that the shower was not your normal shower head and it needed to be took off and descaled. This was apparently done while we were out but the head was still black with mould and dirty. He did attempt to screw the shower back to the wall and stop the water squirting out of the top. We have stayed at quite a few premier inns and this has been the first that has been disappointing on both the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room. We have never had a problem before but this hotel disappointed us in multiple ways.

Room was way too hot. None of us slept Ok. The aircon couldn’t be altered, even though every single Premier Inn we’ve stayed in could be. Pillows or the bed weren’t up to scratch, not very comfortable as they usually are. Showerhead was taped on and leaked!
