It's the only hotel, probably the only accommodation in this area. In Cuban standard, this hotel is pretty ok, clean and big rooms. Fair buffet, and food, great beach. A suitable place to divers or beach lovers.
The birding was great, the biosphere preserve fascinating, and the hotel was good enough. If the water hadn't been turned off 10 pm to 7 am both nights we were there, I would have rated the hotel higher.

The best things about being here are the beach, the sea (swimming, diving etc) and the nearby nature reserve. The hotel itself is a bit tired, the service is mediocre, it's pushing its luck to be described as a 3 star. The buffet is so-so....More
Unless you dive this hotel is not worth visiting. Most rooms are in blocks of four, old and rundown. The food is average, in fact nothing is worth the long drive to get here. The dive boats seemed overcrowded and as a recently qualified diver...More
