We spent 3 nights in Petite Anse. When we arrived it was raining and windy so not quite the Caribbean experience we had expected! The room we had which was a bungalow very near to the beach was traditional but quite dated. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was hard and the frame was creaky! However the staff had decorated the room for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The restaurant menu and food was basic but we had a couple of nice meals. I would definitely recommend a car if you are staying there as the hotel is quite remote. The most memorable part of our trip was a day on Sandy island. The hotel sent us off with a packed lunch and fish for the bbq which was cooked for us on the island. They also provide snorkelling gear and life vests for the boat ride which we wish we had taken as the sea is very choppy on the way there! But definitely worth a visit.…
Lovely location and a great trip up to the North of the island. The team are so friendly, food was great. Run punches knocked us out and no problem sleeping after a couple of those We did the Sunday morning walk and was welcomed into the local community, Thank you for looking after us
We were considering staying here for a week, so drove up for a quick lunch. A laminated menu is never a good start in my view, but anyway.. Long story short, we are not going to stay as a week of that food would be far too depressing. Location suburb, but that is only part of a hotel.
Don't underestimate how long it takes to travel around Grenada - it might be a small island, but we took 2 1/2 hours to travel from the South near the airport. But what an adventure and we covered the island on our journeys! The hotel looks beautiful perched on the hillside and the roar of the sea below is constant. We visited on a windy day so the front terrace was rather optimistic for our pre-drinks, but a lovely table at the back of the terrace was the perfect spot for lunch. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, just make sure you allow the whole day to get there, have a leisurely Caribbean lunch and then home much later.... You'll find my answers in the remainder of this review rather vague because we were visiting for lunch and not using the other hotel facilities
We were having a trip round the island on the day of our flight and were a bit pressed for time but the hotel staff were very helpful sending the menu by WhatsApp and letting us order in advance. The views are stunning , the food was excellent and freshly cooked . I would make the effort to go back
