We stayed in the Oceanus cottage. A place with lot's of character and right on the wharf. We had lovley walks along the beach and enyojed the fire place afterwards. I would also recommend doing the Cape Spilt trail, no far from Harbourville. The view at the end of the trail is spectaculair. Harbourville is a beautifull little place, too...

I brought my family to Harbourville for Easter weekend, it was their first time in Nova Scotia, and they will not soon forget it. We stayed in Atlantis cottage and it is perfect for a small group (<6). Gorgeous sunsets, incredible ocean views, and listen to the waves from your bed. Couldn't ask for anything more. The owner was super...

Harbourville may not be the end of the world but its close. This is the kind of place you visit when you really want to get away from the modern world. My family of 5 has made 2 trips to the Habourville Cottages, staying in the Beach Apartment over the restaurant. The building is about 130 years old, so it’s...

Have only eaten there, and it was NOT my cup of tea. I have noticed a van that says " World Famous Buffet " on the side of it, but I certainly have never heard of it and I'm fairly local. I think the best time to dine here would be when a bus tour was there so the food...

I find it absolutely incredible that there are people complaining about what they should have known before they made the reservation. If they did not bother doing a bit of research before making reservations the only one they should blame is themselves. All the photos on the Website are current and accurate. My dog and I enjoyed ourselves so much...

My husband, daughter, and I just returned from a trip to the Wolfville area, where we finished our "tour" with 3 nights in the Poisiden Cottage in Harbourville. We loved it. We arrived late in the afternoon, tired and hungry. There was a mix-up with our booking- the cottage was double-booked for our first night, but Maria and Henry put...

I expected nothing more than I got. I was on the shore of the Bay of Fundy, in a cottage that was more than 100 years old, in a fishing village. I could smell the fish ( which I expected) see ships ( again expected) and was in a cottage with low ceilings, and sloped floors ( again, expected) I...

We fell for this little town by looking at pictures on the Internet, including this business' Web site. BIG mistake. Makes for quaint pictures but here is a run-down of what made our experience awful. 1. The cabin was really crooked (can you say leaning house?) and, worst of all, dirty; 2. The cabin had a mice problem (that's right...

We didn't stay here, only ate at the restaurant. I ordered a Schnitzel burger, and asked for no fries with it...the older woman told me i'd have to pay for the fries regardless of if I got them or not? ...it was all programmed in the cash register, can't do a thing about it!? She suggested the homemade lemonade which...

We went here for our 15th wedding anniversary. We stayed at Posiedon - it was rustic - had a wood stove - very clean. We enjoyed our stay here very much and the owner was friendly, bringing us two glasses of wine when she came to meet us. A previous post said that the sign said to strip the bed...
